Cruella herself was a pretty late reveal, and her introduction to the show was basically to be spooky and evil, and extra fucked since she's probably pushing 101 at this point since it's THE Cruella from the original Dalmatian movies, released from jail and wanting revenge on Pongo and Perdita's bloodline. Notably, the show goes out of its way to state that she plans on skinning all the dogs out in international waters so she can just dump their carcasses into the ocean.The show itself... it's fun. Definitely different from anything else in the franchise since it's about the Dalmatians living alone with no owners in some house. The parents work as a firefighter dog and one of those hospital support dogs, so the kids (varying in age) all just kinda do their own shit, while Dolly and Dylan end up almost being the "parents" since they're the oldest, and they're pretty affectionate sometimes which leads to a lot of people shipping the two.I kinda like how the show handles them being dogs and getting away with not having owners sometimes, like using delivery and ride share apps to get what they need without revealing there's no humans living in the house.Still sucks we never got more about Hunter though, since the show's just like "oh yeah, this kid can understand dogs for some reason" and never elaborates on it, then he later thinks he legit IS a dog due to being crammed in a shipping container for like a year and treated like a dog which then the show never got renewed, so we don't know what happened with that.Would be funny if the show had him flirt with dogs but I doubt they'd risk a plot like that.
