Marvel editors push back on shit getting swept under the rug. Meanwhile DC's constant reboots and shitty editorial mean nobody ever pays for their crimes.>Green Arrow has murdered a couple people over the years, sometimes in cold blood, and is still a Justice League member.>Red Hood murdered hundreds of people, but is welcome to lunch with the batfamily>Cheshire nuked a middle-eastern terrorist state to set up a ransom demand. She was tried for crimes against humanity, but now she's allowed to chill with the heroes.>Deathstroke and the Brotherhood of Evil nuked an AMERICAN city to ash. Nobody cares. They're just allowed to exist in the world.>Black Adam murdered millions of people across dozens of countries, then joined the Justice League, somehow. Why is DC so shit with this?
>>152166059Seems like Wally is the only thing they've tried to fix though. No one else gets that treatment.
>>152164534Everything I’ve seen just uses broad strokes. Lobdell did a variation of Jason revealing his identity and just trying to kill Batman without forcing him to choose Joker, I don’t know anyone that references Jason being a crime lord, and even in Rebirth Black Mask doesn’t know him.
>>152162423Tony got barely an iota of shit for what he did on the Illuminati and in the wake of Axis. World War Hulk is the only time any of those bastards were truly held accountable for what they did, and even then, not really. Namor got the most shit for his actions, and he's only the one that pulled the trigger. Fuck, DOOM barely gets enough shit for what he did which was literally multiversal genocide. How many times has Steve gotten shit for what Hydra Steve did since Secret Empire? You're telling me everyone just accepted that there was an evil Steve and nothing else happened? The implications of characters' previous actions are almost always relegated to their solo series, and rarely do they crossover into the wider universe after the immediate aftermath.

From the mind of Eisner Award–winning cartoonist Caroline Cash (PeePee PooPoo), experience all the fun of college (and none of the stress) in this giant- sized spectacular starring Princess Bubblegum and Marceline!>What, do you think Ice King should get to have all the fun?! Heck nah! Fanfics are cool and all, but you know what’s even cooler? Peering into alternate universes— and Prismo’s got the perfect one in mind . . .>Princess Bubblegum has just started school at Ooo University (double majoring in chemistry and princess, of course!). But between difficult roommates, overreaching bodyguards, assassination attempts, and—more importantly—a full class schedule, will Bubblegum be able to survive her first year in college?! With the help of one super-cool, super-mysterious flying vampire who she is mayybeee falling in love with, it shouldn’t be all that hard. Turns out Marceline and Bubblegum are made for each other in any universe!

They would lose them instantly by either making an illegal wish or bragging to everyone that they have fairies and charging for wishes.
The structure of your typical EEnE episode demands that they spend the entire episode trying to make wishes (which backfire) only to have their one reasonable wish get interrupted by their fairies getting exposed and taken away.Cue some leftover wish Jorgan forgot to undo before leaving rolling in and screwing over the Eds even harder.

>>152159843Ennies, and all the edginess of that era was the natural response to the ugly US war machine. Even though Ennies is a neoliberal fag himself who supports war, if only it has “good reasons.” The Boys thing brings up Abu Ghraib, the ugly and real showing of what the “good guys” were capable of. While the story always talked about the WTC stand-in that was the point. Ennies, being an edgy fuck, downplayed the victims of the WTC attacks and the 93 plan. Much to show the US/Heroes' ineffectiveness in dealing with threats. As a good neoliberal lapdog, he sat on the fence about military action. Showing that there are well-intentioned people in the midst of all that nonsense. But ironically, he ended up downplaying the soldiers' own heinous actions, which are very real, unlike cape faggots.

Haven't read any Dredd since a little after Trifecta. What's he up to these days? Is he still super fucking old? I actually felt like the comics in the early 2010s were building towards him dying or something, but he seems to still be alive 15 years later.
>>152166753Right now is running wagners last dredd story about his supposed death. But he is still alive
I'll start off. I actually like Ultimate FF. And I prefer the dynamic to the mainline book. I recognise that the stories themselves aren't better, but I think the core setup of a bunch of young adult supergeniuses with superpowers going on weird science adventures works for me far more than the kitschy sitcom family setup of the mainline F4. Especially with things like Franklin muddying the waters. Ultimate FF made everyone an expert in some field and had this feeling of basically being a modernised Star Trek starring people with superpowers. Again, the stories themselves cannot measure up to the classic main FF runs, but as a basis, the concept itself, I vastly prefer it. There was more excitement. They were younger, hotter, cooler. I could easily buy them as celebs. They were young enough to be unpredictable, but old enough to not be annoying teen geniuses. The book was essentially a cross between Star Trek, X-Files and dunno, something like Stargate. There was a playful element to it that you just can't have when you're dealing with a middle aged family. So yeah. I actually like Ultimate FF and think with some reworking the core concept works better than the mainline version. That's my extremely /co/ntroversial take. And Hell, I like Doom being a descendant of Dracula more than him being some random gyppo. The goat legs and mutation suck, but the backstory was a great update. I don't know, I think generally UltFF had all the right ingredients, but fucked up in the actual execution.
>>152165547Plus he didn't do that on SW for lusting on Sue, it was just to stick it to Reed. He was petty af about it too since he thought Reed was dead for years by that point.
>>152165370>Ultimate Morbius is Dracula’s brother >Therefore he’s Doom’s distant uncle
>>152160640I'll do you one better. I liked Heroes Reborn F4. It was far and away the best of those books, which I admit isn't high praise, but Jim Lee was on point and it was interesting watching them try to connect so many classic F4 elements. I think it could have been very interesting had it not ended after a year and it's all the more interesting to think about in a post Ultimate Marvel world.
>>152165370Great rebuttal there, moron.>>152166137I greatly enjoyed HRFF as well. Them trying to tie together the Inhumans and Galactus was a neat idea. And yes, Lee was firing on all cylinders. I too wish it had continued. FF and Iron Man (plus Hulk in a sense) being connected was a great idea in my eyes. I miss the 90s/00s...
>One of the first things we all agreed on in our initial brainstorming sessions was "Namor needs to fuck Sue." We'd had, what, 40 years of Namor supposedly being a rival for her affections, but every time, she chooses Reed? What the hell is the point? No one thinks she's gonna choose Namor at this point. So we wanted to throw a wrench in there, give them something to chew on at conventions and the like. We also wanted to emphasize her age. Sue is 18. Her brain is in her crotch. Yeah, Namor's tried to rape her, yeah, he's just tried to murder her brother and her boyfriend, and yeah, he's just killed thousands. But in the back of Sue's mind, is that really important? And then he gives her the ultimatum. Of course, there's a thousand different ways she could stop the flooding that don't involve spreading her legs or letting Namor get away with it. But that's not what she wants....Narratively, the kiss is treated like sex. Reed screaming bloody murder and Johnny and Ben stuck watching. It's effectively still there, and I wrote onwards as if they'd fucked.
Fact: You can proportionate how truly popular and beloved comics are by basing it on how much people fixate on Marvel and DC A proper "top 10 comics of all time" list should feature at least ONE cape comic
