ITT: forgotten /co/ adaptions

>>152084912That and there's a metric fuckton of "wait, that was a comic?" stuff. Road To Perdition, A History Of Violence, etc., etc.
I find it funny and sad that 90% of the stuff ITT would loose out in production quality to its own porn parody.
Should probably throw in Mutant because of it's weird production history.

Bolt is one of my favorite movies ever. It’s hard to believe it came out almost 20 years ago.
>>152064294I was watching this movie with my family and we were wondering who plays Rhino because we didn't remember. I looked it up and apparently it's just a random storyboard artist who worked on the movie??? He does such a good job I assumed it had to be some famous actor or comedian
>>152086506Was he hired again as a voice actor after Bolt?

>>152086991No, surprisingly

We had one yesterday, so let's redo!
Mr. Hyunh is my wife.Don't @ me.
>>152085855yeh it's a funny one. Maurecia has a lot of funny expressions, and a great voice
>>152086907Her expressions, voice, and especially design is why I enjoy drawing her. Ms. Jewls is a cutie too, of course.
>>152085475Love her design.Shame it was wasted on a show based on a fucking screensaver of all things.
How many episodes of Futurama did we think Lisa was an alien instead of knowing she was a mutant? Was that princess the beginning?

Right picking up where where I ended last time. This is by Comics legend John Byrne. Anyway see archive for previous threadhttps://desuarchive.org/co/thread/151936515/
A thread for Zootopia 2, where we discuss platonic best friends.
>>152087392I think it's interesting that one of the most powerful families in the city are predators. Makes Bellwethers plot in the previous movie a more intriguing with that in mind.
why did they cut this scene from the movie?
I feel like there's a bunch of furries in this thread.
>>152087679Disney execs thought they were too touchy with each other
>>152087392I think the premise is perfectly believable. Its a common trope in literature and in life that someone with a great idea gets fucked over by their investor or business partner (Think Ray Kroc and McDonalds etc). Added to that the other side of the coin, which is that rich people are sometimes the most greedy fuckers of all, and you have a decent motivation. Some people are just evil, greedy shitheads that will take your money/resources without remorse. Ebenezer definitely felt like that. Plus, there was probably some decent snake prejudice on the part of mammals, not enough to outright ban reptiles from proto-Zootopia, but once the framed murder happened, it was enough to push the prejudice over the edge and reps were ostracized.I don't disagree with anything you've said, I just think that the simple plot we have works well enough. Plus its a children's movie with a 1:46 runtime. You would need more time to develop these ideas.>>152087607For me it justifies why Mayor Lionheart was willing to use illegal black-bag tactics to capture the savage predators in Z1 instead of just trying to work with the cops to fix the problem. He had the backing of the Lynxley's, who also probably instructed him to do it that way "or else". Can't let the prey find out now... got to fix the problem quietly before the lesser mammals find out and revolt.>>152086904Weaver is GOATed

>>152087170how many more times until the industry learns that the stove is hot?

>>152084166Uncanny 6 is a drag. I have the MM and Fall books already but this one goes JUST a teensy bit beyond were the latter ended so Vol 7 is gonna have the tinniest gap.

>mediocre product>infuriating development behind the scenesAny other obvious cases of this? I'm not talking total disasters that were bad in terms of both development and the final release. Moreso those shows or movies that are simply just lacking on the surface, but get worse when you look into how little care went into how they were made.

>>152044715This one isn't as MEATY as >>151996472 but it has similar qualities so it makes me happy! :D Even if it's never EVER implied in the show that she has that build. Also I really like her voice in the show. idk how to describe it.

when it happened to teri it was weird enough, but now with penny, i'm starting to suspect things about the people working on gumball.no other cartoon has had "nude" scenes like this, it's kinda concerning what they're showing to their target audience.
>>152087144Penny doesn't count. What's the name of the show Lizzie's in?
>>152087167It's just called Lizzie. It was a series of short episode made by dreamwork for a now defunct streaming service. All episode are up on youtube.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-IIJu21pXNMhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8PRfSimT0bEEnf episode as the start of the second video.
>>152087203Well, you're right the episode came out a day before The Nights. But Teri is far more popular than her since TAWOG show is mainstream that's why she got more attention than Lizzie.

Looked for a Spider-Man thread to say this, but I realized something. The problem isn't the way they've wanked Miles as a better Spider-Man than Peter. Miles should be a better Spider-Man than Peter. The problem is they've ignored why. There's a reason the project that made everyone like Miles featured an older Peter. It actually established a sense of mentor/student.And the annoying part is Insomniac Spider-Man almost had this>Peter pushing 30ish, struggling balancing Spider-Man with his newly married wife. MJ is understanding but clearly does have frustrations which she tries to hide because she can't totally blame him. Making him feel worse in true Peter fashion>Is clearly strained, a bit burned out and it shows, but he keeps on chugging even if he's a bit sloppier at times>Then, along comes this 16 year old kid who has similar powers and it pisses him off because this kid is gonna get himself hurt. It's an exasperated kinda "guess I have no choice".>Shenanigans ensue, cue mentor apprentice bickering and bonding, we see Miles start to get more into his own>Seeing how much he inspired this younger generation revitalizes Peter and gives him a second wind. As Miles learns, he's even able to lighten Peter's workload and start patrolling solo and having his own little adventures.>It becomes apparent, Miles is better than Peter was at that particular age/phase of being Spider-Man because he has a mentor to guide him. A giant who has let him stand upon his shoulders.>It's a bit of an ego source and a banter between the two but Miles does admit it when his arm's twisted, maybe even a small character arc around it>Everyone thought this kid was shit, and he was, but his potential was believed in and he was allowed to harness it.There was a way to do this without JUSTing Peter if they weren't insecure about Peter seeming "too old" or Miles being seen as "a sidekick". Taking an apprentice or cadet is natural development for someone Peter's age. (1/2)
>>152080327otherwise you might want to impregnate her +10
>>152086726>MJ gets pregnant at some point during this. Yes Peter is the father you hacks.>Elsewhere, Miles has his big 'earning your wings' arc against some higher tier villain when Peter is temp out of commission>After this arc, Peter is healed night she goes into labor, Vulture or Rhino or something attacks, MJ tells Peter it's okay to go but then they see the live footage, Miles has jumped in and is not only fighting said villain, but kicking said villain's ass.>Because of Miles, Peter got to be there for his wife while she went into labor. Mayday is born.>Miles is not a sidekick, he is an apprentice and upon seeing this, he is promoted to Junior Partner.>Peter has fulfilled the responsibility of mentorship, yet Miles continues to grow and add his own skills and techniques on top of the ones Peter taught him, and he still looks to Peter for advice or input from time to time.>It becomes clear, when the dust has settled on their respective careers, Miles will have been the better Spider-Man because he got to learn what came before and build on it>Peter does not just retire or step aside. Yet works with less strain since he has a partner to help with the caseload.>Flashforward. We get a glimpse of 16 year old May-Day as Spider-Girl, she's better than both of them at her age because she got to learn things both of them had to figure out.>It's the same implication, she will be better than both one day, yet she will always look up to them. The torch burning brighter. And this is where the flaw with how Miles is handled lay. He's an apprentice but already an equal and he's better because Peter taught him but also he's just naturally as good as Peter? The weirdest part about Miles is that we should want him to become better than Peter. That's a natural arc, that's a good mentor-student dynamic but they keep shitting it up by hitting the fast forward button and portraying 16-18 year old Miles being just as good as 28 year old veteran Peter. Which is just dumb.
>>152086726>>152086866you're contending with the fact that comics never end

you guys ever notice how the characters in Arthur all have nice thick butts
>>152083363buster owes me sex
>>152080316I've also noticed how Arthur's parents abuse hime and treat his sisters much better than him, when dw does something wrong all she gets is a short scolding but if Arthur just argues with his dad he gets no tv for a month, it's no wonder dw is such an evil little sister, they never punish her but they always punish Arthur
I feel really bad for Arthur, he had it worse than me growing up.
