>>152142270Read the whole scene. She was pissed because he was being dismissive of her. He hit her because she used a psychic attack on him that brought out a painful memory. She literally attacked him for throwing her in some water. She escalated the situation. She was not some battered wife, he pissed her off and she betrayed him for money and property. He didn't lay a finger on her after she betrayed him which he would have if he had been beating her. I he EVER had a reason to do something to her it was then.

What does The Maker's helmet do?
>>152154184Tbf he hasn't had much actual screentime the last few years
>>152154184>He's separated so much from humanity that he doesn't care to keep human shape in any capacityIt was interesting to see him embracing not even being a living being anymore
>>152152810Ok, that is clearly make sense.
>>152154861so the maker is stronger than 616 reed?
>>152156195He's at least different. 616 Reed is stretchy, but he still has distinct organs but his shapeshifting is limited and I don't think he has any regenerative ability, while 1610 Reed is essentially a Thing-like (not The Thing, but the alien from The Thing lol) colonial organism. Not sure how their intellect compares.>>152091826He started wearing it after Johnny burnt and disfigured him. I think he mostly got better though.
Why are old comics so charming?

>>152153739Exceptions just prove the rule.
>>152143293Old comic writers had passion and SOVL
>>152143293"What is it about old superheroes that makes them so charming in comparison to those nowadays?
>>152151071Usually ask them about X-Men and you'll notice a very recurring pattern. Either that or it's just someone who's never actually picked up a comic book and gets all their information from like 3rd hand accounts.
GENERATION X-23 #3, featuring a cover by Partha Pratim Sarkar, arrives in comic shops on February 18, with Houser and Camagni continuing to push Laura Kinney’s story into bold, dangerous territory.Wolverine’s legacy is far from over, and it’s cutting deeper than ever.As part of the X-Men’s new “Shadows of Tomorrow” era, Marvel is launching GENERATION X-23, a bold new series that continues to redefine the legend of X-23. Written by Jody Houser and illustrated by Jacopo Camagni, the series picks up next month, placing Laura Kinney at the center of a future shaped by violence, survival, and hard-earned identity.Marvel has now released a new teaser for the series, offering a glimpse at what lies ahead as X-23 confronts the weight of Wolverine’s shadow—and the consequences of the world’s expectations. With the past still bleeding into the present, Generation X-23 promises a character-driven story that challenges what legacy truly means in a fractured mutant future. Oh, and plenty of new X-dash characters.Fans can also learn more about the creative vision behind the series in a newly published interview with Jody Houser on Marvel.com, where she discusses Laura’s evolution and how Generation X-23 fits into the broader Shadows of Tomorrow era.GENERATION X-23 #3, featuring a cover by Partha Pratim Sarkar, arrives in comic shops on February 18, with Houser and Camagni continuing to push Laura Kinney’s story into bold, dangerous territory.

The X-office can't go 5 minutes without introducing a half dozen new characters.>3K mutants>Outliers>Exceptional kids>Probably some new guys in X-men United>Whatever else I'm forgettingAnd now these guys
>>152156115Well the starting concept was a school and "has powers because mutant" means you can cut down the work involved in developing one.

>My son, did I ever tell you about Tamaraneans? They are an exotic alien race in the Vega system, a fine piece of feline-evolved pussy from a kinkier age. They have the tightest bodies and the most teardrop perfect breasts in the galaxy; barely covered at any time. The Psions and I used to doubleteam them at the end of every successful scientific investigation during Krypton’s Fourth Age, and once in a while we’d even have the entire Science Council run a train over them, part of official investigation of course. In time, they learned their place in the Fortress of Bonitude. When they wore something they put on tiny strips of metal, and since they were constantly flying you’d get a glimpse of their orange pussies mid air. It was surreal. We taught them to grip their weapons like a dildo and they constantly get captured by the Gordanians and the Citadel almost every other day. It was ridiculous, like a constant porno Kal-El, you have no idea. That’s why I have sent you, my only son, to bone them.

Nothing will ever fill that Venture Brothers sized hole in my heart.
>>152153430I heard they were trying to revive a spin-off and focus on Gus and Wally, but they knocked on every door and nobody wanted it.
>>152153755I heard them describe the pitch on a podcast. Gus and Wally would be the new central characters but all the cast would return and it would very much be a show about the ensemble and neighborhood of Mission Hill. And there would be a short timeskip but it would still be set closer to the period of the original show than the present. It sounded like they really had thought it through
>>152151821Her show wasn't very good from what little I saw of it though

>>152155049Never seen that show, anon. Is it any good?Cruella is my comfort character and I was always worried about the way she is portrayed. At least they designed her character in that show to wear fur sometimes, something that was unapologetic ally missing from 101 Dalmatians: The Series.
>>152151981100 dalmatian feels unlike a lot of the franchise it would later be. First example the mom didn't have a 100 puppies, she had a lot but nowhere 100. Cruella was already collecting dalmatians so the puppies just got added to that. The next is people seem to think her whole think was skinning puppies, she actually wanted the puppies to grow up before making the coats, however she kept getting paranoid she was going to be found out so she periodically throughout the movie keeps upping the time when she going to skin the dogs.
>>152155129To be honest, I never quite understood Cruella's obsession with dalmatian spots. Dalmatian fur is so short and course. If she was truly just obsessed with the spots, lynx pelts are spotted, and much thicker and softer. I always felt if Cruella truly loved fur that she would realize that.

Go-Bots doesn't get enough credit for being one of Hanna Barbera's best cartoons of the 80s. Once you get beyond the stigma that it's a "Transformers Ripoff" (which it was never intended to be, both shows were developed independently based on different pre-existing toylines) the animation is fluid, the art direction is fantastic, the writing is entertaining and exciting, and the voicework is superb.

>>152148558>Aside from Arcee, female Transformers were kinda rare back in the 80's and mostly limited to that one G1 episode with Elita One, Chromia, and Moonracer (all those were Autobots).Hasbro's execs constantly opposed to the idea of adding female characters to the show. I don't know if back then Takara had female bot figures to import, though.
Go gets some Bots, man.
