Why do stop motion films always tend to be expensive flops?
>>152125124Time consumption and labor that COSTS MONEY
>>152125796CGI is still more expensive because of energy and rendering costs.
>>152123973When is it coming out? I'd go see this at a cinema

>>152126052Fr? Physical sets and props and high-tech filming cameras don't add to stop-motion budgets?
>"It’s so interesting, because the Marvel machine had so much chatter around it," DaCosta recalled. "But when I look back on it, everyone tried their best. Everyone was trying to make a great film, and I will say I’m really happy to have those relationships.">"I was just visiting the Avengers set last summer, which was really fun, catching up with the producers, seeing the Russos, and some of my friends were in the movie," she continued. "So it was really nice, despite how everything went with the box office and the reviews, knowing that the relationships are so good.">"I look back and everyone tried their best and everyone was trying to do the right thing, and it is what it is," DaCosta concluded.https://deadline.com/2026/01/28-years-later-bone-temple-nia-dacosta-interview-1236681261/
>>152124469Lol, PRspeak tends to sound that way
>>152121978>Iron Man Boy I really wanna believe Brand New Day will free us of that characterization. Just let Spidey be SPIDEY
>>15212607650/50 chance of that happening
>>152127084I don't like those odds...

Favorite Richard Corben comic/work?
>>152117640The Connacht flashbacks in Conan the Cimmerian
>>152126553Very nice work on the marsh textures
>>152124164It's the fourth one. There was a kickstarter for a reprint of Mutant world and Son of Mutant World a few years back. The editor changed a lot of the dialogue in the initial run. They changed it back for the new bookend it made it way better. The posthumous one, Dimwood, was very good, imo.
>>152117640That alien has a smashing ass.

>>152125913He didn't get time for a proper name change, so he was just using spidermans naming schtick I would imagine a proper name would be something related to blood transfusions or whatever. He has an insane healing factor and probably could heal other people

Sorry this might be slightly off topic(?) but I'm trying to draw more dynamic poses/two characters interacting with each other and some anon recommend a 3d posing software(not anything specific), but I don't know if anyone here has one they recommend?>>152105427Oh thanks! She's a cutie
>>152127200>but I don't know if anyone here has one they recommend?I don't have experience with any, but here >>>/ic/catalog might be a better place to ask, or the drawthread.
Do you like crazy paneling in comics?
>>152125584He's not unreadable though, a lot of the ones that get posted in these threads are though.
>>152119278Haha oh yes
>>152126353I wish McNeill did more comics. Also, love Burroughs.

Aside from Moebius, which other comic book artists have gotten art gigs in movies?
>>152126115It's called Drawing Monsters.
Good thread.
Mezieres worked on the 5th element together with Moebius.
KAZ designed the furniture in Pee Wee's Playhouse.

From Aaron Long's production notes on "Convention Report":>She's basically just a parody of 2010s "nerd culture" influencers, but people seemed to take the character more sincerely than I intended. As long as people enjoy it I guess that's okay too, although they might not like where she ends up later this season. What's going to happen to our girl?
>>152125441What do you call someone who's BOTH?
>>152125984a DORK
>>152118988Heh, yeah I can see the resemblance
>>152121822>>152122654The prioritization was the problem. The only way this shit would have worked is if the girls were forced to autistically learn about not just every new triple-A but a lot of the popular double A series and play through all of them. This is a cashier's salary we're talking about and among both female and male employees, gamestop was gaining a "only work here if you absolutely fucking have to" reputation.
