Well, looks like Old Paul Rabin is going the way of DC's Terry Long. He's never going to become Spider-Man or molest Eddie Brock at this rate. At the risk of angering the Polish fans, what did they even like about him? He always seemed pretty boring and useless to me.
>>150270589Because the entire Marvel multiverse will die if the One Above All's favorite son dies.
>>150269741If that wasn't enough, one Titans editor Jonathan Peterson did want him killed off but it didn't happen.John Byrne later got his way when he had Terry divorce Donna and take the kid, and both die in a terrible accident. Phil Jimenez now agrees with the fans and has Donna write off her relationship with Terry and the birth of Robbie as a big mistake.

>>150265729>>150265729>theatrical revenue alone wasn't enoughThe theatrical revenue that will end up in WB's pockets as of Sunday's box office, at the moment is approximately, conservatively, about $290M of the current $614M and probably is actually higher. >>150267441>shills are not reliable sourcesSponsorships can be used to offset the marketing budget. Anyone claiming the marketing budget is $200M or more and anyone claiming the reported Ohio budget (that $363M figure) as the 'true' figure is as reliable as those shills you are discounting. Anyone who thinks that any production studio isn't lying to Georgia, California, NY, or Ohio about costs, which is how those states tax credit statutes are written and designed to determine HOW much the lying studios will receive, is an idiot who doesn't deserve a driver's license, or access to condoms, or access to liquor, they are that stupid and dumb. This is as true to something like Wednesday, filming in Ireland for tax credits from that company or anyone else, not just something exclusive to WB (or DC); it's certainly something Marvel has taken advantage of as well, and Disney.

What is this animation style called?
>>150270501Yea, I'd agree from a critical standpoint, the story and animation were good, if not mindblowing, but what carried it to the insane heights is the music, and the fact that it was just such a simple and clean movie in an era where Disney and Pixar just fucking refuse to deliver said product, so there's a lot of pent up demand that finally got unleashed because someone made a movie that parents could happily watch alongside their kids and there was no hamfisted political shit involved.
>>150210769Not every single little thing needs a term, you TVTropes addicted fucker.
>>150270593That is true, we have kind of been starved for basic and unchallenging stories of good triumphing over evil, an attractive cast of characters, some great music. It's honestly kind of a throw back in that sense.I'm pretty sure I saw some gay / lesbian stuff in the background too but nobody really made a big deal out of that. Kind of a text book case of how you'd want to go about doing that. Make a good product first and foremost.

>>150248647How does American Dad do it? still manages to be generally pretty good despite being on the air for almost 20 years. The characters actually evolved a little bit over the years compared to Family guy, Futurama or The Simpsons

>>150269134>Soda BatsGroup of bats all named after different types of soda that are in a roller blade skate team. They're actually ass holes that are mean to people. One lf the people are Greg he's late to work. A character who is constantly late to work it's often impleed he's multiple job that the soda bats make him late to that gets him fired. The team constantly loses, most likely due to a weight class. A lot like Zootopia they are put against mamals way above their weight class. Like that episode of South Park where the little kids play against a professional team.
>>150269134>Ugly Duckling but it's an action anthro series where the poor kid has to survive hordes of bird of prey, vicious bats and other predators alongside the cruelty of regular people until he grows up into a swan which are essentially superhuman beings compared to other creatures.

>Unbelievable. A spinoff staring--- the other guy. Why didn't 32 bankrupt studios think of that 12 times before?!
People blame Sheen but they could have made an Ultra Lord spinoff and used him there.
>>150269099Zamn, that would've been the PERFECT direction for a spin-off. The Jimmy Neutron crew should've hopped on that opportunity when they had the chance
I thought princess Oom and her giant tongue were hot. Wish I were Sheen.
>>150265522This has fuckall to do with Jimmy Neutron in terms of tone and writing. Usually spinoffs try to keep the spirit of the main show.

Are the scooby-doo movies that aren't part of the Zombie Island, Cyber Chase and Aliens even worth a rewatch? Like Reluctant werewolf played on Teletoon every year, multiple times, when I was a kid... but I'm not sure if it would even be entertaining now. Same for Ghoul school I guess. /co/ seems t ohave fond memories of them, but I only watched it once as a kid and mostly forgot everything about the movie. I also only ever owned the Scooby-doo in Hollywood cassette as well as the one with the Harlem Globetrotters.
