It's meaningless until a studio actually picks it up and assigns a >$50m budget to it. That said, I'm cautiously optimistic about the new He-Man movie, which looks pretty decent from the previews. If we can get out of the awful late-2010s/2020 woke "reimagining for modern audiences" bullshit of the last decade then a new Thundercats movie could be cool. As long as it's not a one-and-done like the recent Transformers One, which was a very good movie that sank like a stone in the lake and did absolutely nothing for the TF franchise. In order to thrive Thundercats needs an all-around franchise offensive, including a movie, a streaming cartoon, toys, comics and other para-media. And it's unlikely any studio - not even Netflix or Amazon - would commit to that in today's volatile entertainment business.

I imagine it would really do a lot for comic's global image if more comics were fan translated so people could try some of the smaller ones that were never officially translated for themselves. But since the interest isn't there no one translates them and because no one translates them, and so on. It's a vicious cycle.
