Angry fans sent them mails which demanded she be brought back in addtition to this it got many people to stop reading Spider-Man for good and for them this is where Spider-Man story ended for good.Ever wonder why OMD really happened now? the answer is simple they not only wanted Peter's and MJ marriage gone but they also wanted Gwen restored back to life and OMD was the best way to do this.
