>>153080514>Giada PerissinottoInterview: https://www.artribune.com/editoria/fumetti/2018/11/intervista-giada-perissinotto/>Giada Perissinotto>First of all, let’s start with the beginning: when did you decide to make comic stories?>Well I started very early. My first memories go back to elementary school, when I was drawing adventures with me and my friends on the notebook, complicit in the Japanese cartoons I saw on TV. I kept drawing classroom adventures with my friends until the end of high school. After the schools I realized that maybe I could make a job of my passion.>favorite character?>Surely Lamù, the girl from space, the beautiful alien invented by the Japanese manga Rumiko Takahashi in the late 1970s. In the Disney world, however, my heart beats mainly for Donald.

>be RorShaq>motto is "never compromise">compromises his moral code all the time>chooses to be a murderhobo because God's not real>believes there's inherent good and evil but also there's no divine distinction of morality and human law is the line>wants to expose Ozymandias because... uh, the people have to know because... uh... knowing is true and truth is good despite not there being inherent meaningRorShaq is kinda retarded, ngl. I don't get how he became the breakout character. When I was reading the book I found Manhattan to be the core of the book alongside Ozymandias. The others I saw as narrative devices. It's not that I didn't find all of them complex and fleshed out, Rorschach included, but his popularity stems from being "badass" and in my experience he was too retarded and inconsistent to be badass. Comedian was more of a "raw sigma" if one goes for the vibes. I guess the mask-&-trenchcoat outfit is so cool the GA just bypasses the rest. But dunno, for me, the protagonist of the book is either Ozymandias or Manhattan, and the "literally me" character IMO was Nite Owl.
>>153083524State his moral code and explain all the times he compromised it
>>153083524You do realize that christcuckoldry is made up bullshit for retards and peasants right? There is no inherent, objective "good" or "bad" regardless of whether you believe magic jewish skydaddy is real or not.
>>153083833There is a good apple and there is a bad apple. There are good people and there are bad.
>>153083524Wow, you're retarded and missed every single point in the book. Holy shit.Rorschach doesn't believe in god and doesn't believe good or evil inherently exists in any way whatsoever, but he WANTS them to exist so he will force them to exist by his own actions: he will enforce them like they exist because he wants them to exist and it's not like the universe's natural structure deserves any respect over what he imposes on it. That is the point of the reveal and he is VERY consistent about it. He literally believes in good and evil only in the way he personally defines those words and rejects everyone else's ideas. Imagine me drawing him as a gigachad here, I'm not going to bother.
>>153083709Somehow i think Veidts look are borrowed from Edward Fox in the Day of the Jackal.
Why are Indie animators incapable of writing good dialogue ????
>>153082917>sees three cartoon animals that aren’t drawn in a particularly sexy way>characters don’t do anything sexy in the short>”THESE FURRIES KNEW WHAT THEY WERE DOING MAKING THEM SO FUCKING HOT, DEFINITELY FETISH SHIT I WANNA FUCK EM SO BAD”I think you just might be the furry fetishist in denial. It’s just like then there’s literally any scene where a character has their feet out and all the foot weirdos go “oh this was so obviously fetish material” and it’s literally just a girl walking barefoot or some shit
>>153082917>indie animation's biggest problem: shameless self-indulgence.I'd say it's more of a modern thing rather than an indie one. Most modern projects, even big productions, are just the writers constantly self-indulging. They constantly self-insert, and are often more concerned with passing a message they subscribe to or are expected to rather than giving a good experience to the audience... so in the end, it's like they're making the whole thing thinking only about themselves. This happens in comics, movies, cartoons, series, games, you name it. I'd say it is more common in indie stuff since those are often less business-focused and more of a personal project, but it happens in both big and small projects.
>>153083126you vastly overestimate the involvement of writers in big projects on any media. we live in the era of chop and change have fiished 'fix it in post' scripts.
>>153083126you’re sensitive which is fine but it’s normal for people to express an individual point of view in grownup world.
>>153082917>shameless self-indulgenceSo what you're saying is at least one person is guaranteed to like it

Been reading Mark Gruenwald's Captain America, and it's been fun. I love Gruenwald's worldbuilding and continuity autism. What Marvel runs have you read recently? What have you enjoyed?
>>153083167The writer of the blog was one of his friends. He dumped a lot of info many hardcore fans wanted to know, like his experience in Marvel and opinions regarding some subjets. The artist and his family would be very resentful if they found out this. However, it's an obscure blog, so I suppose that almost no one read it. Anons you should always check these blogposts they have interesting things. Did you know that JMD has one? He's not the writer I'm talking about btwhttps://www.jmdematteis.com/
