I said the same thing about Baker's Plas when I had only read that initial arc, but I read the whole thing recently and it's not that good. My biggest issue is that Baker went digital with the art. It looks so much worse than his traditional work. In some parts, it looks atrocious. Scott Morse's work on the comic looks significantly better, but the stories are too simplistic for my taste.After On the Lam, which is alright, Baker's run becomes a lot lazier and less funny. I think the last issue was okay too, but everything in between left a bad taste.

Honestly one's preference of Star Wars basically hinges on what media you saw as a kid, since the franchise captures kids' imaginations the most. Pre-PT kids prefer the Bantam era, more unexplored lore, and Zahn's Clone Wars where the clones were implied as the bad guys. PT era kids prefer the Clone Wars multimedia project before TCW overwrote it. TCW era kids see the PT and TCW as complementary since they watched both on DVD. Etc
