A lot of the time, if you see an old comic artist no longer working, they're likely either working private commissions, teaching, or doing storyboards for commercials, TV, or movies. I believe Michael Golden has done some even though, can't find the interview right now but he talked about comic artists being in demand for storyboards because of versatility
