Haven't read issue 5 yet - its on my pull list at the shop, here's what i'll say about the first 4 issues.its... ok. Picked this up for Terry - bonus Static seemed harmless enough. But yeah, the art could be betterThe nerdy villain's character & buildup & dialogue are all really 2 dimensional and cringe. I'm not versed in Milestone. all i know is Static from the cartoon and a tiny little bit of Icon. I picked up that "New History of DC: Dakota Incident" one shot and enjoyed it, so I thought this could be a fun ride. The dialogue between all of Static's crew constantly sniping with Terry is off putting. It doesn't come off as playful banter, it comes like a very freshman writer wanting to prop up his favorites with very shallow "tell don't show" dialogue that make Static and co seem like always-right, always-cool, ultra-badasses. oh well... i'm already in the hold for 5 issues, whats one more?
