And I found many of the sisters visually appealing and the idea of them fooling around with their brother appealing so for many years I indulged in the fanart yet hadn't watched the show at all, haha, at the time I wasn't very interested in cartoons and was mainly an anime fan who hadn't really watched many western cartoons since childhood (I started watching cartoons again years later in the 2020s and at this point I am primarily a western cartoon fan, did a 180° on that). This started probably back in 2016-ish and around when the show debuted. I only started really watching the show proper last year, I sort of fell into an enjoyable tradition where whenever I was on trips and staying in hotel rooms I would always watch TLH because it somehow always seemed to be on. So I watched dozens and dozens of episodes in hotels all over the place while on road trips and such, and made some really great memories thus cementing the show and my history with it as something unique and special in my mind. I like that the show is essentially waifu shit/moéshit and has a cast of girls that fit specific archetypes and personality traits reminiscent of a harem anime of visual novel dating sim. That as already primarily the kind of anime I consumed, so it was a real easy and familiar thing to pick up and get into in that sense.
