DreamWorks obviously wasn't expecting to reach Aladdin and Lion King numbers with POE, but they were definitely hoping it would reach Beauty and the Beast, Pocahontas, Hunchback of Notre Dame and Mulan numbers. In the end, it couldn't even surpass Hercules (which was considered a box office flop by Renaissance standards)
