i rewatched this show around November before bed every night. its underrated and my biggest complaint is the 11 min episodes felt too short and the 22 min ones felt like they dragged on. Brad does make funny stuff but its either over too fast or it drags on forever

If you're a fan of his bizarre wordplay, yes, absolutely. Its like his narrator from Wizard People telling the story of Ulysses Grant, with hyperbole about him riding horses upside down, long asides from enlisted men free associating about life, and some real touching meditations on what it means to be a person. Fittingly for a book about Grant, there are long stretches about him being drunk and isolated and miserable, with his military triumphs and handful of defeats kind of glossed over as difficult things to make light of

If you were at all touched by some of the more human moments of the Baby Cakes shorts, I'd say it's worth a gamble
