Sorry if this isn't the right thread for this but i kind of thought of a reason for why someone like Buttercup might like Dexter.I imagined it starting with Buttercup being in the middle of a fight with a particularly strong monster, her sisters are stuck fighting other monsters and it's not looking good for her and just as she's about to loose Dexter shows up on his mecha to help, Buttercup always being used to saving civilians never really thought about being on the other side of that interaction and watching some dork in a tin can swoop in to save her made her feel a strange warmth in her heart and a tinge of embarrassment for needing to rely on someone that wasn't one of her sisters.Not knowing how to deal with the new emotions and her slightly bruised ego she resorts to bullying the guy and constantly follow him around.Again sorry for posting this here, i just had to get it out of my head.
