It feels like a surface-level attempt at recapturing the original Looney Tunes essence "Look, our Bugs wears yellow gloves just like he did in one of his first appearances. That means it's just as authentic." Completely ignoring the fact that they were replaced by white gloves for a reason.

This drives Bugs up a wall and makes him lose his cool, pre-emptively ending the show and getting him booed off-stage. Defeated, Bugs gives up. Daffy tries to annoy Bugs some more, but a depressed Bugs ignores him, making Daffy super bitter and angry. Some bystanders find this funny. Bugs notices, and continues making a fool out of Daffy by baiting him. The short ends with both of them partnered up for an act, only this time Bugs is the one getting the laughs by not reacting to Daffy's wacky schtick and baiting him into getting mad.
