>>144304066It's kind of a pot kettle black situation because Dreamworks was at the forefront of making it their stated company goal to build franchises they can milk for many sequels, it just took them a while to hit Shrek and they had a bit of a slump where nothing seemed to be doing well enough to warrant a bunch of sequels.
