While the X-Men (Cyclops, Rogue, Gambit, Storm, Wolverine) investigate Genosha, they're met by Interpol (Chun-Li, Charlie, Ken) who misunderstand the situation as Rogue and Gambit have only recently defected away from the Brotherhood. Their fighting allows the Brotherhood and Shadaloo to capture the lot. During the brawl, Rogue touches Cammy with a bare hand, which knocks them both out. Meanwhile, a wandering Ryu arrives.Magneto goes to the imprisoned X-Men, demanding they support his quest for a unified mutant kind. Rogue reveals that she gained Psycho Powers from Cammy, meaning Cammy is a mutant. Disturbed that Bison has kept this information from him, he goes to confront Cammy. Meanwhile, Rogue's touch has shaken Cammy's brainwashing a bit, giving her doubts about her loyalty to Bison. Her and Magneto together discover that Bison is secretly researching technology that would brainwash those with great power, and transfer those powers to others. Bison reveals he was never a mutant, and used an early prototype to transfer Cammy's powers to himself. The Brotherhood and Shadaloo begin fighting, with Cammy defecting to the Brotherhood. Ryu uses the confusion to free the X-Men and Interpol, and a massive three-way brawl breaks out.The brawl attracts Akuma, who appears and starts bodying everyone. Bison cackles and reveals this was his true plan all along, blindsiding Akuma and using his tech to convert him to Cyber-Akuma. Apocalypse arrives, revealing Bison was working for him. X-Men and Street Fighters unite to defeat Bison and Akuma, with Ryu and Cyclops teaming to stop Apocalypse.
