>>144328056I'm not a flag guy, but I have to respectfully disagree. There are over a dozen flags out there with the Union Jack in the corner. The only any anyone outside of Canada would be able to tell which one this is just by looking at it is the red background (which Bermuda also has) and the maple leaves taking up like 10% of the space. Not only that, but three of the five sections of the coat represent the regions of the UK, just like the Union flag, making them somewhat redundant together.A variation of the Union Jack with a leaf in the middle and maybe a lion head and/or fleurs-de-lis would be nice if you wanted something less simple than what we've got now.
