I ordered the first TPB of the current Conan series because I hear everyone saying it's good. What am I in for?

a compertant Conan story with some decent art but i wouldn't say it hits the highs of Busiak & Nords run but much better than late Dark horse or Marvel recent attempt at Conan books

you can't really top Busiek's and Nord's run because they mostly just used the original Howard stories and fleshed them out for a modern audience.

Busiek's also did that Hyperborean story early in his run and that's one of the best non Howard Conan stories. That run and the original Savage Sword of Conan comics can't be topped
