THE NEW NORM AINT THE SAME AS THE OLD NORM
>>
>>144334831
Is that woke non-binary guy at least named Norm too?
That'd way they'd have two wildly different Norms in the house, they could literally call them "Old Norm" and "New Norm", and it'd make sense thematically and metaphorically.
>>
Is there a show yet, or are we still posting the same 3 minute pilot?
>>
>>144334859
the show will never be made, the pilot is getting panned hard

I miss that damn polar bear.

How fitting, considering Rob Schneider's conservative himself.

You have already put more thought into this show than the writers.

People greenlit this? Real people?
>>
>>144335487
I took it as Chloe having gender dysphoria and being elated to finally have someone else to talk about it with
>>
>>144335623
It's not like there's big companies behind it, the "greenlighting" is just the one guy with an idea finding one or two private investors and you know there's at least a few who would fund anything which positions itself as anti-woke
>>
It's sad that there are now two anti-woke cartoons where conservatives insist that being anti-woke and being conservative hinges on having no black or gay friends.
>>
If Norm's under house arrest, how did he go to disneyland?

He has a black friend, it's 3 minutes long and you missed that entire sequence

It's not trying to be ironic
>>
>>144336423
Mr. Birchum does too. There where those in the anti-woke crowd and conservatives called both shows woke and not conservatives. The question is always "what exactly do you conserve" when having gays and blacks exist is a bridge too far. Sure there are more liberal conservatives who are fine with them, but they're at ends with their definition of woke that kept being invoked with any blacks or gays in media.

I'm the Old Norm. I want Normal Beer!
>>
>>144336836
I've taken to saying this like I have an autistic tic. It's really funny to me.
>>
>>144336836
The timing of that is bad because beer companies generally didn't go too gay. It's residual meme reaction from the old Bud controversy and rather than acknowledging that conservatives got their way and Bud gave Dylan Multranny no support, he's still the victim.

JP Sears is in this? He's the guy that made pro-flat earth theory videos that were disguised as making fun of flat earth people, but then "joke" was that flat earth theory is correct.
>>
Chloe and Chaz will get into a forbidden love relationship since they're both white, and Chloe is AFAB while Chaz is AMAB, making it a very heteronormative relationship. Norm will become a little more progressive and understanding while Chaz will stop being a federal agent and learn that a tiny bit of traditional values goes a long way.

Oh, life on the old norm ain't what it used to be.
Y'know, the world's gone crazy, and it ain't safe on the streets.
>>
>>144336849
Same. It's a very iconic catchphrase
>>
>>144334831
Meet the new Norm, same as the old Norm
>>
It's weird that this happened without much real support from anyone. It's like they got a script, recorded lines, and then outsourced everything to make it "work" and then posted it without specifically endorsing it. Like I can see the IMDB page but I can't find anything to support this. Did at least Dave Rubin comment on it?
>>
>>144337837
I guess there was an AI commercial I just cant find it but I was able to see 1 reaction video for it.
Its weirder than the show itself.

One of the reasons this show isn't funny is because all it's doing is listing absurd beliefs of the opposing political side and that's it. But the audience is already aware of those beliefs and already thought they were absurd before watching the show. Nothing is added. Like consider these two scenarios:
1. A character talks about how Elon Musk is a genius and the Cybertruck is revolutionary
or
2. A character talks about how Elon Musk is a genius and the Cybertruck is revolutionary. He tries to drive it only for it to break down completely. Piece by pice until it's just the skeleton. In the middle of the road. He's asked if he still likes it and through seething grit he says it still has charm.
The second one is clearly funnier because the dumb belief is contradicted by reality at hand in an over the top manner. Meanwhile in The New Norm, if anything, the ultra leftist beliefs are working perfectly fine. Things aren't breaking down. Reality at hand isn't contradicting the stereotype's views.

>I like the theme song;
It's too bad I immediately recognised it as AI generated since I've been playing around with suno.ai for a while and it was obvious they used the same website
>>
>>144338688
Is it really that big of deal? I enjoy AI voice memes (the gamer presidents for an example) and play with AI stuff when it's free and doesn't require an account.
>>
>>144339067
If it's for president gamers, it's appropriate, if it's a theme song, it's soulless. It's like how the South Park style fits the purpose.
>>
I haven't seen a single person anywhere on the political spectrum have a positive thing to say about this shit. Even other right-wingers hate it.
>>
>>144339963
That's because it's the right-wing equivalent to this
https://youtu.be/7Fxls1XrcJc?si=6zp-isgo4KL2Q7_p
A shallow attempt at pandering that doesn't land even with who it's pandering towards.
>>
>>144336379
Both of them have a black right. The REAL sad thing is that, on top of just not being funny, they're both too afraid to do anything genuinely offensive - to provoke, or challenge anyone - but they still pat themselves on the back for sticking it to liberals by doing fucking nothing.
>>
>>144340000
Right because these conservatives make being anti-gay and anti-woke their whole platform while trying to remain somehow inclusive.
