I just don't think it's appropriate to compare kids cartoons trying to make kids and adults laugh to a serialized action cartoon. By what standard are you judging these cartoons? Just vibes? Legacy? The only real comparisons for ATLA are Danny Phantom and MLaaTR. Both are not as good, even at their best. Spongebob at its best is quite excellent, but idk. I find myself enjoying Invader Zim/Angry beavers more than Peak Spongebob at times.
