When my British grandmother was alive she would buy Beano and Dandy annuals for me when we visited her. This was ages ago as I'm very old now. There was a Despereate Dan story about Dan trying and failing to father blackberries because the thorns would ruin his clothing until he realize his tough skin wasn't even stratched and just gathered the berries naked. He cheerfully exclaimed "I don't need clothes!" while "wearing" a rowboat into which he dumped the berries.

if you know the year you might have some luck just searching "dandy annual YEAR cbr"

alternatively you can probably find it in a second hand bookshop - try the catalogs of UK independents, some of them are very good and not everything they have on their own catalog will be on abebooks, which is a markup reseller anyway - just go to the site of the bookshop listed in the abe catalog and buy direct, if someone's got it
