Then that radically different take on the character became her default and nobody, including comic writers, want to write Harley Quinn Gwenpool. Then you have a sad spiral of Marvel trying to keep her relevant but failing every step of the way. They forced her onto West Coast Avengers hoping her fans would read that book, but Thompson disliked Gwen and wrote a version of her people didnt like. Then after WCA was canceled they had Gwen retcon herself into a mutant so she could be a part of Krakoa since she was already under X-Men editorial, but nobody wanted to use her. For some reason they kicked the McNinja off the series, and then every author since doesn't know how to write her. And also for some reason the McNinja guy hasn't gotten Big Two work since. Though maybe that's because he got disillusioned because of the aforementioned kicking.
Why didn't they make her an anime show?
I really like that one fanartist that made fan comics of her. Is he still making comics?
