Anyone else remember that weird micro-trend of CGI adult animated sitcoms in the mid 2000s?

Tripping the Rift is pretty good.

The same channel had a "Ripleys Believe it or Not" cartoon that was also a globetrotting adventure show, so I got confused a lot.
I think Cro was also on that channel.

My uncle worked on father of the pride.
He told us not to bother with it.

There were a bunch of forgotten late '00s South Korean-Canadian coproductions in a similar vein, but this is the one that stands out to me.

>makes a cartoon about a family composed of characters from different video games
>3/4 of them are from sport games so they are iust normal people with nothing else going on
>Also, the sonic character is just a talking dog
Why? What is the fucking point then?

Nobody seems to remember this show outside of the Spaniards. It seems impossible to find the eps even on piracy sites, funnily the music is on Spotify so I have that at least.

As a Norn Iron I watched this on channel four in the morning. I remember being emotional when the human girl found her brother.

If you ain't an Argie or a Frenchie then you would have never known about this show.
It was geniunely cute

Probably not so much "spite" as "shamelessly rip off." The style and the cover art itself is clearly going off of the Disney movie and trying to trick people into seeing it because of that. I saw it as a kid but remember nothing about it.
