Nobody expects much out of it since the show and its spinoff were bad far longer than they were good.Ren and Stimpy has high expectations because of what the show has to live up to: even at its worst, the show was well known for its expressive animation, inventive plots, and weird visual humor. Completely unironically is the new FOP show worth watching, even just in the background? I've seen some fun Dimmadome and Cosmo and Wanda gags off twitter but it seems like besides the fact that she's black the main character seems like she's got no personality.

And Wanda isn't just there to nag and be the voice of reason all the tim. It's not as funny as the original series, but it has it's own charm.Hazel is fine, she's not a basket case like Timmy was, but I'm fine with it. Means she'll hopefully gracefully age out of her fairies and the show won't drag on forever.I think Hazel works best as a character when she's working off Dev(basically this show's version of Remy, but imagine him a bit more prominent in the show).

>>144631864I liked it before the tumblr sexyman showed up. It's not great, there's some awkward humor that falls flat, but overall it's fine. The art style is fantastic and it has good ideas of where to take the FOP characters. Cosmo and Wanda are back to being a loving couple, the Dimmadone family are the main villains of the show, Jorgen is back to being competent, AJ is a successful businessman, characters other than the MC get fairies and they stick in the show permanently, Crocker and Vicky continue their villain antics and anti-fairies are set to do a return. The entire show feels like it was made by FOP super fans who care about the source material a lot.
