>>144639337If only there were some way you could find out for certain.
>>144638159>>144638777Thanks!
Why does the TCJ only praise books that look like shit? Every single person who has ever worked for The Comics Journal is responsible for the medium never will be taken seriously.
>>144640803Go back to your Batman, son.

>>144644550Why did you? You've said nothing.
>>144645615Allow me to explain. The anon (I'm guessing not you) said that he heard the book is amazing, but it doesn't look that impressive. If anon wanted to find out whether or not the book is amazing or unimpressive, the perfectly, completely obvious method to make this determination is to read the book (link provided upthread) or at least a portion of it enough to determine the matter. That struck me as such a blindingly obvious solution to anon's conundrum that I decided to point out to anon the perfectly obvious solution in a humorously understated irony. This, being /co/, was misunderstood, and anon thought I was disagreeing with him and said that he could see the art, thus proving that it was unimpressive. I wasn't disagreeing, I was trying to say that there was nothing preventing anon from reading the book to settle the matter for himself, but, again, this being /co/, such understated irony zoomed over anon's head. My response to him then was that if he could see the art to begin with, and thus judge that art to be unimpressive to him, then the matter was settled immediately, obviating the need for his comment in the first place. I hope this clears it up.
