>character has super strength>they just smash and throw everything in sight like a fucking retard
When your best tool is a hammer...
>>144650182Is there a smart way to smash and throw everything in sight?
>>144650182Its the simplest, and honestly the best, way to show someone is strong but savageNo finesse, all force
>>144650199Orbital Drop?
It's annoying when super strength characters never go for the head. Just head scoop em'.
>character has elemental manipulation >it only goes as far as "pushing and throwing" said element
>>144650182Characters almost never use whatever power they have to their full potential. Dude who controls air element can simply remove all oxygen from his enemy's lungs. A man who can control water can make an opponent boil from inside or just dry in seconds.Superman throws cars and honestly, he's good at it so let him do it the way he knows best.
That's one of the only things I liked about the Shin Kamen Rider movie. It was the only time I've seen a character with super strength and speed just smack someone in the head and have it just pop like a grape.
>>144650182>character has regeneration>gets gored and practically killed all the time
>>144650199Weaponizing objects. Cars into gauntlets, trees/poles into spears, large vehicles into shields.
>>144650295 was meant in reply to >>144650248
>>144650281>let him do it the way he knows bestNo. Give him a training arc.
>>144650322>No shit, fr on god?
>>144650322The moment a character is introduced with Regrneration, you know he’s going to job in nearly every encounter because that’s the whole point of this power
>>144650471I would much prefer the character with super-regeneration to be portrayed as an unstoppable monster.
>>144650281Heroes don't do that, and there's usually story justifications for villains not doing that. Avatar states that manipulating people's bodies requires effort. In X-Men, Magneto trained his powers until they were able to be as fast and precise as he wishes, having control over magnetism wasn't automatically OP.
>>144650182>character has super strength>shows it offYes, that's the point....
>>144650517Why didn't Bruce Lee just use a gun?
>>144650525Gun-kata
>>144650182>characters can fly>fucking walk
>>144650471Meanwhile everyone else gets mildly roughed up and bounce back as if nothing happened to them.
>>144650531I like that Mark and Nolan float around their house in Invincible.
>>144650478You should read worm
>>144650354Turn a bus into a skateboard...
>>144650354that's just "smashing things" with extra steps
>>144650525bruce lee's super power was a gun?
>>144650525
>>144651006Which is the smart way to smash and throw everything in sight.
>>144651271What about instead of throwing or punching an opponent, mash the opponent into paste. Or reshaping the environment to shift the options available to other combatants. Or using structural steel wreckage to safely restrain opponents. Or kneading steel like dough to heat it up to start a fire. Or "blocking" attacks with an extended finger to poke holes in what's hitting you.
>>144650322>character has regeneration>gets vaporized into a pile of ashes with eyes all the time
>>144650354Remember what they took from you...
>Character has telepathy>They try to demonstrate it only to regret peeping into someone's mind
