They've met online and she's delaying actually meeting in person. His girlfriend is actually a colombian mole. Not one for the drug trade or another gang. She's a for real talking talpid that uses a more realistic veneer vtuber filter to appear human. John shows up expectantly in Bogota to surprise her. She panics and fakes being abducted to avoid meeting him. This launches John into a vigilante rampage, breaking up human trafficking rings cartels. Trailer quick cuts around this intro then right into him interrogating some cartel members, and throwing an awkward beat where one of his hostages agrees to cooperate to help find his girlfriend: only to show John can't admit he doesn't know many if any personal details or identifying features like "Does she have any tattoos?" and "What color does she paint her nails?" so he'll pistolwhip and knock out the only helpful one yelling "I'm the one asking the questions!!!"
