i thought this was neat. an early (the earliest? its from 1966.) example of those lines steranko liked to put in certain panels. presumably done before he switched to using screen tones, which i assume results in much more precise linework.
and here, two years later, the same idea done much more elaborately. really phenomenal stuff imo.
That is a cool upgrade. Practice makes perfect.
