As a lad, can't stress enough how it felt cinematic and sort of prestige as compared to most of the garbage on tv. The Elfman score, the stylized noir trappings.

a solid action show from the era. It captures the feeling of Batman 89 and Robocop - not necessarily satirical but has a tone that's not realistic but not campy.
