Coming off Deadpool & Wolverine, I think the main issue with Marvel’s Multiverse Saga is the lack of momentum. Once Thanos set out to collect the Infinity Stones, all bets were off and shit kept hitting the fan all the way to Infinity War/Endgame. With Kang and the Multiverse, it feels like every linchpin movie (Multiverse of Madness, Quantumania, The Marvels) is a start-and-stop, big things happening then at the end it resets back to general normalcy and stretches out the other shoe dropping, and D&W is the same in that regard.
