Are you a Zelda fan? Have you ever asked yourself "What if Link grew up among the Gerudo, and Ganondorf was his adoptive father?" Odds are you haven't, but it's an interesting enough hook for two tumblrites to have made an ongoing comic about it. Of course, being tumblrites, the comic is plagued with ugly art, heavy-handed preaching about racism and transphobia, the lamest incarnation of Ganondorf I've ever seen, and perhaps the most cartoonishly evil and awful king of Hyrule I've ever seen.A friend of mine bought it to my attention and I decided that if I had to suffer through it, you guys should as well. I don't have a 4chan pass though, so apologies in advance for the slowish pace I'll be uploading pages at. Likewise, it's 1 AM where I am, so apologies if I randomly doze off in the middle of this.
Also, fair warning: the first 22 pages are going to look a bit choppy because I had to put them together myself: you can't (to my knowledge) download pictures straight from WebToon and on Tumblr, individual panels were their own images, and on Kemono they came in potato quality. So misaligned panels are my fault, not the artist's.
Comic starts off a bit boring, fair warning: the really bad/funny stuff doesn't happen until roughly 100 or so pages in.
Nabooru's attitude feels more like how Ganondorf would actually act if he were Link's dad than this comic's actual Ganondorf, imo. I get that he's not going to be a sadistic, cruel dickhead, but I can't really imagine any incarnation of Ganondorf acting like an irresponsible loser who's too soft on his kid. He'd be a hardass.
And here we have the first victim of my incompetent patchwork jobs. RIP lmao, I guess that's what happens when you were bad at coloring in the lines as a kid.
Vridi's honestly kind of cute by this comic's standards. Shame it doesn't last though.

Kind of a shame things went this way since this was my first Storytime of Pain, but it was still fun to participate, failed attempt it may have been.If anyone's interested I can talk a bit about the dumber aspects of the later arcs, but I'm probably calling it quits here.
