Finn's a kid and the biggest reason he fumbled FP is because he didn't understand what puberty was. He ends up getting better later after resolving some more pressing issues that dropped. Mordecai has fumbled a legendary amount of times to such a degree that it's a miracle he even gets Margaret back in the end. Even Rigby manages to settle himself sooner and for a good chunk of the show he's a manchild
