"Alan Moore's Swamp Thing run is just a below average Stephen King novel"-Jim Shooter

It's arguably the best run of all time from the big two. I can't think of anything more enjoyable from their catalog.

True and based. Moore's navelgazing nonsense permanently damaged a classic man-as-monster mythos. It's telling that Swamp Thing became vastly less popular and successful among anyone but Moorefags as soon as this run became the accepted "core narrative."

This, it can’t compared to Shooter’s masterful work of the New Universe!

Comic book writers can't even hold a candle to children book writers, so that's a given.

It is a little overpraised, but Moore is ultimately a better writer than Stephen King.
