This is what AI users enjoy
Learn to code.
>>144940815better than the traced and 3d bullshit that gets spammed. using anime art styles.
>>144940837Learn to draw.
>>144940846>plagiarism is better than plagiarism
>>144940837I've actually been considering this, except I'd want to do it so I can animate and make interactive things I actually draw. I would also like to learn to draw better.
>>144940837Maybe you should. Writing prompts doesn't count.
>>144940815What its just an ordinary pic- OH MY GOODNESS! OP!!!!!!!!!!
>>144940837I'm coincidentally a machine learning grad student but I'm not studying it for art, I want to help make assistance devices for the disabled.
>>144940837FPWP
If /a/ bans AI slop threads, than /co/ can ban them too. Seriously, put these faggots in their own containment board.
>>144940815Looks exactly like the ironic shit that "people" draw on twitter to sell as art
>>144940815I'm having fun with it. It's not amazing, but it can be fun to generate weird stuff. Sure, if you look at it too close you find all kinds of flaws, and it's not as good as hiring an artist to make your commissions, but making a 5/10 image in a minute to post on /co/ to shitpost with is great.
>>144940968They ought to be on /g/.
>>144940815Still better than watching every thread turning into /aco/ cumbrain spam
>>144941031>cumbrain spamSo, the average AI post.
>>144940968By that logic drawfaggots should be on /ic/ and not here.
>>144940876Ai doesn't trace. all it does is use art styles and generic poses from models to make what the person types. that's it. tracing is a straight copy of something. a reference is something inspired by something else. much like ALL art.
>>144941153Correct.
>>144940968>If /a/ bans AI slop threadsGenerals are not allowed on /a/
>>144940846Better? More like a lateral move really. Traced poser art looks like ass too.
>>144941153Everyone complains about AI but no one complains about people posting their drawn OC's and fan art especially if its saucy.
>>144941973Most AI spammers can't help but act like they deserve their dick sucked just cause they got a computer to draw something for them. People posting OC know better than to brag, otherwise they also get told to piss off back to /ic/, and they're usually far more devastated about being told by a bunch of random anonymous people that their stuff sucks than the average automated intelligence user.
>>144941484tell that the dragonball super
>>144941973Maybe it’s because the Drawfags actually try instead of getting a program to shit out some drawing ripped from the work of better people.
>>144940815Original joke OP, just as original as AI art itself.
>>144942198
>>144942198why is her arm melted on that sign?
>>144940815>all these brownoids in this thread defending Aisoon life will have no color in the future. just nuke humanity already i welcome it. It's a better fate than being surrounded by homunculi sacrificing standards for profit. Burn in hell.
>>144942243From a year ago
>>144940815Correction, this is what AI users create. Nobody actually looks at the pictures. If you look at boorus, AI drawings always get a fraction of the views and votes that real drawings get. That's why it's called "slop." Same reason that even if the technology was there to let you generate your own episodes of whatever cartoon you like, nobody but you would watch them (and you probably wouldn't watch them either).
>>144942198>>144942217>>144942241>>144942285>>144942331>>144942343>>144942368
>you can't advance technology... because you just can't, okay?!
>>144941017Same, it's fun to mess around with and find unusual styles and break them down to redraw myself
>ai is garbage slop that no one will consume or pay for>ai is stealing all creative jobs the government has to stop this NOW
>>144940837I'm getting masters in computer science and there hasn't been single assignment I can't complete with Chat GPT. Computers are better at coding than at art.
>>144942453>>144942481>
>>144942453AI's been a thing for decades, retard. They're just trying to make a fast profit off of it after NFTs fell through via the most low effort possible option possible aka selling an image generator to companies for far more than said image generator is even possibly worth. And you fell for it like the grifters expected.
>ai is not art because it doesn't fit this arbitrary definition that i just made up based on my feelings
>>144942198>>144942243Do you mean the transparent one or the one that is a foot?Goddamn. AI sure is ugly.
>why isn't generative AI doing manual labor jobs? generative AI should be washing my dishes not generating content !!!!
Easy to learn fun to experiment with
>>you can't advance technology... because you just can't, okay?!>>ai is garbage slop that no one will consume or pay for>>ai is stealing all creative jobs the government has to stop this NOW>>ai is not art because it doesn't fit this arbitrary definition that i just made up based on my feelings>>why isn't generative AI doing manual labor jobs? generative AI should be washing my dishes not generating content !!!!
>>144942273is that Somari in the TV?
>>144942516Feel free to define art so the internet can judge how stupid you are then, bot
god I hate basedjaks
THIS is what you want, AI bros!
>>144942064That's a thread. thread.
A.i. tricks my boomer dad on facebook
>>144940815Tsorudariodarosorudarosura??
>>144942198Her left arm is a leg.
>>144942597art is anything in which a human is involved in a creation that invokes thoughts/feelings in other humans YES, that includes ai because a human typed a prompt and is involved in the creation process. the machine would not have generated by itself without the input of a human.
>>144942640mine too, he showed me this when the Baltimore bridge collapsed
>>144942709no way........... the simpsons did it???
>>144942453>>144942481>>144942516>>144942554Niggerest vantablack coal. Ask your AI overload to generate you some serviceable 'jaks
>>144942705Considering a robot could input the prompts a lot more efficiently than humans ever could, you are incorrect. The machine literally doesn't need you at any step of the process, therefore it's not art.
>>144942768Lol them sentient machines running about with their gaming pcs
I don't really consider ai stuff to be art, but it's fun to punch in some words on a program and it's spits out a picture. I don't understand why it pisses some people off so badly.
>>144942768at least you agree that so long as a human is prompting, it's art.
>>144942791NPCs need something to bitch about
>>144940815AI art programs are the result of artists being insufferable and toxic. You earned this. Now normies can generate art better than yours and be sparred the trauma of observing your opinions or dealing with you.How does it feel? I'll tell you, you feel like that mean girl Debbie looking in the mirror and realizing no one listens to her because she is now fat and ugly.
>>144942791Cause of jackasses like >>144942850 who are far more insufferable than the average pretentious art student
Chris Chan tier diviantart fags are having a harder time getting commissions
>>144942850It has absolutely nothing to do with artists be toxic and insufferable, though that can sometimes be true. It's just multi-billion dollar corporations trying to save a few hundred bucks to have a program create something and not have to worry about residuals.Whether it will work or not in the long run is still in the air. All ai stuff requires someone to go back and fix the errors so they still end up paying an artist.
>>144942850>insufferable and toxic. All I hear is someone too fucking soft generalizing an entire hobby just because an artist politely disagreed with them. Not even a child would come to this conclusion, they'd just call people cruel.
A.i. art is fun to play with, it's like the first photoshop or Corel art, Fox News was mad at shopped images 20 years ago now a.i. art, soon it will be something else
>>144940815>This is what normies enjoyFTFY
>>144940815yesI'd post the spicier stuff, but it's get me banned here.
>>144941276>Ai doesn't traceLmao, nothing is funnier than listening to AIjeets talk about technology they don't understand.
>>144942791I think they feel threatened by it. They either think that it's copying their work directly or that they have ownership of their art style. It takes only ten seconds to find out how AI works to realize they have no ground to complain. What I think they won't admit is that they feel threatened that these programs can put out dumb silly drawings about whatever popular IP is out there, that doing this will take away the fans that only follow them for the silly low effort joke comics that they will go and make for themselves.
>>144941017Yeah, it's great if you need a shitpost in like five seconds, but for actual art I'd rather just draw stuff myself, or at least use the AI as a jumping off point for ideas.
>>144940815>This is what homos enjoyFTFY
>>144940815>>144940968Its great for porn, stay mad. >>144942453>>144942481>>144942516>>144942554>>144942589This
>>144942705>>144942800According to you if someone pays an artist to draw something the commissioner themselves become an artists. The guy commissioning and the prompter do the exact same thing in the creative process after all
>>144943497>AI as a jumping off point for ideasThat is the best thing for me. Making 10 or 20 of the same prompt for a reference picture is pretty handy.
AI has become as shit as most artists. It does have the upside of not talking back and taking ages for a commission however
>>144940837Don't actually do this>t. career programmer and miserable
>>144943558>Its great for pornI mean, if you're into deformed eldritch horror.
>>144940943That's sweet, keep it up!
>>144943571Yes. Turns out "art" is an impossibly complex concept to describe and in trying to define it you run into a lot of weird and strange examples that could be defined as art. It's still art, nonetheless.
Can artist use AI just for coloring?
>>144942791My main issue is that because of the low barrier of entry it's a shitposter's dream they can use to spam slop everywhere. It's also popping up in every space you can think of, whether it's social media or porn sites so it's becoming increasingly difficult to ignore something that looks like ass the second you spend more than a second looking at it. We already have a problem with human-made slop dominating the market, now the literal essence of soulless slop is threatening to make that even worse.
>>144940837AI prompting is not coding kiddo. You will never be a real artist.
>>144943558>Loonatard couldn't tell the last post was mocking the WojakspammerKek what a dumb bitch
>>144943818they should introduce a colour coding system for search everyone happy then
>>144942453>>144942481>>144942516>>144942554>>144942589>>144942800No matter how bad life is for you. Remember you will never be as sad as a virgin neet that saves wojaks and pepes on their devices.
>>144943763you can yes but whats the point if you're already experienced enough to handle the coloring process. You don't get precise control over lighting and color palettes either so there's still work on fixing up the mess left by the model. Most people hate the line art process and AI isn't complex enough to create brand new poses. Some idiot artist did a redraw of a trending AI art to own the AI "artist" only for the original artist that the AI model stole from outted the artist for stealing their work as the pose was identical.
>>144940837anon sama..............
>>144944454KWAB
>>144940815That is literally how star trek food is supposed to be btw
>>144940815Speaking as an NSFW artist, AI is useful when you have an art block or you're burned out and having a lot of trouble visualizing your idea. I often don't know where to begin, or can't think of a specific pose or angle that I want for the character(s). So, prompting the basic idea and getting a near-instant visual reference is massively helpful, especially when you can look at it in different styles in varying degrees of cartoony/anime/realistic aesthetics. Then, I can take the best result as my starting point for drawing an actual thing. It's not perfect by any means (the anatomy is weird a lot of the time, and there are still a lot of limitations, especially if your GPU consists of a baked potato), but I like it way better than digging through disgusting 3DPD real porn references, for example. At the end of the day, AI art is junk food, or at best, a side dish; AI art alone is not fulfilling and can never be. But in small portions, used correctly, it can be extremely helpful.
>>144942791it's low-effort spam in image form.
>>144944454>techbois get KWABedits like pottery
>>144944454>AI learns to write computer codeThat sounds like a good way to Fastrack our future to the one found in the terminator.
>>144940815This joke was so original I’m sure Ai could never replicate it
>>144944586I figured you could use it for storyboards
>>144941153they should
>>144942791its liking giving chimps machine guns
>>144940815What do TV cartoon enjoyers enjoy? The drama and therapy of crew?AI will liberate independent artists which terrifies them.
>>144945540The Republic of Congo?The Chiquita Wars?Chicago?
>>144940837>>144940849Learn to have an actually stable career that doesn't make you easy to replace.
>>144945576Then go work on the AI instead of being here, loser
>>144945613Suggestions? All careers seem to be replaceable by superior robots.
>>144945616I work on my series about AI robots. AI will be helpful for things like populating army scenes.
>>144945760I'm an electrical engineer, I won't be replaced until after laborers, line cooks and other low skill physical jobs
>>144941276Dude, don't even try to reason with them. They're literally irrational drawfags or drawfag worshippers that are more asshurt than a dude who got anally gaped by a horse. They don't get it and they don't even care to understand it. They just either ramble and yap about why AI traces and plagarizes without understanding coding or even fucking art referencing in general or they just pull out ad hominems and call you a dummy. It's been over a fucking year since AI art(that doesn't look a screenshot from a nightmare) has busted onto the scene and they keep doing the same shit. They keep trying to valiantly fight against AI art when they should just accept it. It's a fucking genie in the bottle that can't be put back. I've also never, NOT ONCE, ever seen an anti-AI dipshit ever talk about the fact that it's nigh-impossible to convince corporations to ditch AI. In a world where these corporations search for every single way to cut costs, is AI really gonna go away? No way, so they should just shut the hell up and accept it already.
>>144940815>Food Analogy
>>144946332But I already accept people like you are the useful idiots who think they're not going to be the first ones lined up against the wall in the oncoming robot revolution, anon.
>>144944586I don't get this purpose, finding references is the easiest shit out there. Using AI for pose inspiration is the worst since it rarely comes up with anything dynamic or interesting.
