Did you like Anya as a character?
>>145155250I like her mum as a character.
>>145155250I still haven't read it. I saved it from a story time like two years ago, but I never get around to it. Looks interesting though.
i've had this graphic novel in my backlog for about 13 years, should i give it a try?
>>145155844Yes.
Is this the one where Ann from amphibia is a ghost?
>>145155250I liked her enough. She's basically a teenage girl with all the problems they usually have, and whatever you end up facing as a immigrant. She's not too bad so you can at least feel some sympathy for her. And by the end a good chunk of her character flaws got iron'd out.>Decides to be nicer to Emily>Defends her little brother >Becomes sympathetic to Dima, who she found annoying the entire book>Realizes she's just trying to get the attention of other stupid teenagers. It's not much, but it's nice.
>>145155250I like this artist.I even like her semi-autobiographical comic about Orthodox Camp.
Do you guys find her attractive?
>>145156309just cute
>>145156309Her and her Mom
>>145156309yes
>>145156393>>145156782>>145157200But why and how?
>>145155250I like how she learns to empathize with the nerd and popular girl and thatshe gives Emily closure and an indrect burial as sad as it was.So i guess the comic is about empathy.
>>145157382>So i guess the comic is about empathy. But not in a gay way
>>145157244Anya looks cute. For me, cute = attractive. And I like her character enough. And her Mom because I like Milf's and find her adorable whenever she starts talking to Anya about history, their Russian side, or whatever. Probably like these two as much as I do because I read this book all the way back when I was in Middle School, so this story has stuck with me.
>>145156309Cute and plappable.
>>145155250Any feet pics of this cutie or her ghost friend?
>>145155250Her and the main character of Persepolis are like the ancestor of most of the characters in graphic novels, Webcomics and cartoons made by women, even puberty books and foreign animated movies in the last decade or so.
>>145158055The art style in Persepolis (Movie and Graphic Novel), made Marjane and her mother look fuckable.
>>145155250I love that image of her fucking her little brohter
>>145155250This comic is shit.
>>145155262Reminder that she doesn't have a husband.
>>145157244Big slavic milkers
>>145157809no
>>145158675Best future
>>145155844it's short enough to knock out in an hour or two, it's worth it.
>>145159330>>145155977Ya, Anya's Ghost and Be Prepared have both been storytimed on /co/, great reads. Anya is a good character.
So what is the consensus on ghost yuri?
>>145155844If you're lazy you can watch the first third of the book on youtube.https://youtu.be/TCf6qY2LVFU?si=J09R0WL4hhJmGEKk
>>145161007>Ghost girl basically grooms Anya to try and "Give her the life she always wanted">Emily influences Anya at almost every level. Helps them in school, pushes them to wear more revealing clothing, constantly gives them support by telling her she thinks she looks good>Only instead it's so that Anya now fits all of Emily's tastes. >Anya becoming too dependent on Emily, and just falls into her new role begrudgingly,>Emily now has a hot Russian GF.
>>145161007Elizabeth Standard better, BeckyxStacy yuri. (A bit of hs resenment showing through in the story though)
>>145162260Why people stay with people who cheated on them?
>>145162784It's usually low self esteem. They think it's because they can't get anyone better, or anyone else in general., They've tricked themselves into believing that the relationship can work out
