Why is CN so boring bros ain't animation supposed to be exciting and cartoons supposed to be enthusiastic and epic, why are we getting more baby slop and reboots of the same IP?

You grew up.
>>
>>145155283
They've outright stated they're aiming for a younger audience now than they traditionally have. They were always at their peak when they made animation that appealed more to older kids or even teens.
>>
2 more years and they'll be making pre-school shows.
>>

Decay induced by dipshit executives with no taste
>>
>>145156675
They already are.
>>
I'm actually kinda excited for the Foster's preschool reboot.
>>
>>145156675
They started to and then realized that's not the core demographic still watching CN. Expect more stoner shows in the future.
>>
>>145155283
Because it's run by people who don't understand cartoons and the ones who do are hackish millennials who even in the best of cases would create subpar works.

>it's real
>>
theres fucking nothing on, mainstream channel toons are dead and have been for a while
time to watch the backlog
>>
>>145155283
Didn’t CN say it was trying to bring back that teen adult audience to the point where they extended AS?
>>
>>145157804
Yes? It's been known for awhile now.

No. I'm rewatching Gargoyles, So Weird, and Sailor Moon with my wife as we speak and they still kick ass. Cartoons nowadays just suck.

Imagine any show being able to to animate something 1/100th as good as this:

I don't see it
>>
>>145161229
Actually they made a new cartoon cartoon YouTube channel that replaces boomerang so they can probably drop it on there since these are the cartoon cartoon shorts program

Ass response

Samefagging industry cocksucker
>>
>>145161613
They're literally all fucking finished and ready to release, what is taking them so long??
>>
>>145159021
There was a small attempt along with checkered past but they also kept dumping stuff like Unicorn Warriors on AS.
>>
>>145156509
>no anon things didn't get worse you just grew the kids love it just as much as you did back then!
>>
>>145161898
They don't know what to do with them and also don't care.
>>
>>145156509
>Don't ask questions, just consume product and then get excited for next product.
>>
>>145161829
The channel has been dead for 4 years outside of that upgrade. I doubt they'd just shadowdrop the pilots there, considering the content in some of them (if they're not toned down from the leaked animatics and whatnot).

>>the kids love it just as much as you did back then!
This part gets me given how fucking deserted CN's show roster is
At this point there are more kids watching SMG4 consistently than modern CN's channel/shows
