Why don't antiheroes brutally torture their enemies more often? Like I mean drawn-out sequences where they relish in their enemy's brutal sufferig. Is it because the macho fantasy these characters appeal to is about being a cold efficient killing machine, and blatant sadism interferes with that and makes the protagonist look like a creepy freak rather than a masculine role model?
