he gon get it
Prakhuta is a really interesting an compelling character in his own rightBut he’s been mogged pretty hard in these recent pages so my reaction is sort of just a “bye Felicia”
Does... does Prakhuta wind up killing himself? Suicide by painghost?
>>145533194never trust a long arm on your shoulder
>>145533314He probably will at least make it back to bird mom. He can't let them kill him before that. The pain of the dead don't interest them.
>>145533194rip o7 At least you got to murder both whores and make Duane look like a retard
I'm not the only one getting Facilier vibes right now, am I?
That baby with a hole in its head has been hanging around Prakhuta pretty consistently, is there any significance to that which I've missed?
>>145533995That or perhaps Prakhuta should be sitting on a couch in the last panel.
>>145533194finally. Suffer.
>>145534063Perhaps the face possessing the mug of coffee belongs to that pain ghost. It looks as though it would just about fit in the face hole.
Website comment:>Alone again, bosom friend, just like old times.>We awash in blood, and you bathed in your rhymes.>-AshleyPatreon comment:>Misery loves company but your pain is never your friend. Knock called this way back when, if you'll remember.>I think Ana and Prakhuta are both wonderful examples of there just sometimes being no answer, no meaning, and no happy ending. You don't like to see it in a story, but it does sometimes serve as a pleasing contrast to the characters and the arcs that do find some catharsis and resolution.>Anyway, like Ahab, we'll see Prakhuta one more time ere it's done.
>>145534063That's one of the original ghosts that Delicieu grafted onto him. It's been with him since the beginning, that's all.
>>145535014that's neat. Why don't the boats fall through the world though? They rely on the laws of reality as governed by the khert same as people don't they?Could a Senet Beast manage it? If a Senet Beast could, does that mean you could put Juste on a boat and hide inside it?
>>145535267I assume it's because boats don't have souls.
>>145535376>boats don't have souls.YOU LIE
>>145535014>fucked when you die>fucked if you leave Kasslyne is hell.
anybody have all the darkseid settes?
>>145535035>Knock called this way back when, if you'll remember.Anybody particularly remember what exactly she's talking about here? What page, what moment?
>Duane isn't even going to get to murder Cutter for what he did to CaraFeels bad man
>>145535014>literally no clips out of realitybut if you don't dematerialize, aren't you basically immortal now?
>>145533194It occurred to me today that they look just like spirit Duane here. Am I slow?
>>145535014
>>145535669They are spiritsKnock died when she hit the ground after Cutter bit her throatSette ordered her to live + khert fire + first silver whip wrapped on her let her ghost spirit continue on for a bitAna's heart stopped (absolute death in unsounded)They hug and go away
>>145535035>I think Ana and Prakhuta are both wonderful examples of there just sometimes being no answer, no meaning, and no happy ending.Legit takes more planning to kill someone meaninglessly than slapping gravitas on a death. People are just conditioned to expect the story to have a reason behind events.Storytelling simply hates lack of meaning. Even "not caring" about moral elements in a story is a meaning in and on itself, making a point by turning the writer/narrator into a narrative agent who chooses to deny the reader the validation / meeting of expectations: Easier to parody/ridiculous death than to present it matter-of-fact. Deliberately capturing that "is that it? that just feels wrong" sensation that comes of not having aesop requires a consecrated level of planningalso> I had been certain someone would be really mad when Knock impossibly showed back up standing and speaking clearly after Cutter chomped her throat outThe reaction to the lemon reveal got on her nerves kek
>>145535669Souls look like that
>>145535721Why was he nekkid when Duane, Knock, and Ana weren't
>>145534194that's all he's been doing all his life, buddy
>>145535730>ana/knockFreshly dead, still in the real world so they haven't been disassembled yet>duaneStill alive as far as the khert's concerned
>>145535730Wasn't he half naked when he died?
>>145533194I wonder if Anon could be right and Tittybird somehow still gets her silver. Otherwise, I wonder what happens to it. Does it still go to Alderode?
>>145536811If Tittybird doesn't regain control of her silver, it will become a scourge on both the world and the khert traveling to whatever location next that has the most pain. An extra RIP to all those on the war fronts. Ironically it may be best for Tittybird to retrieve it than not. >Does it still go to Alderode?Seems like it.
