I thought it was great. Not perfect, but the fixes really helped.

The bigger problem is that no one cares about Mickey Mouse to buy games about him. Don't bother saying Kingdom Hearts. Those games use Mickey as a glorified cameo he's not important. Anyway other platformers are more popular like Jak and Rayman. And when you consider Spyro and Crash Bandicoot? Mickey Mouse is a failure compared to the profitability of their games.

Also didn't the recent remaster of the first Epic Mickey fail? Haven't heard anything about it having good sales. And finally Disney's current reputation is probably not helping Mickey Mouse prosper.

I did enjoy the Paul Ruddish shorts and the ride based on them, but those shorts ended with Steamboat Silly so Mickey's probably trapped in the realm of not doing much again for a while
