>How does this work?

>It works like a community toy chest. In the /coc/ threads you are free to post whatever ideas/settings/characters you want, but you have to be OK with other people playing with them (tweaking them, putting them in stories, using them for things, etc.)
>There's no guarantee that what you post will catch on either.

>If the OC you are posting is YOURS for something you are personally doing, then it would go to the "How is your webcomic?" threads.
>If you just want feedback on an OC of yours, then it would go in the "donut steel" threads or drawthreads.

If the thread dies suddenly or you still want to discuss something when there's no thread:

Hmm. It just needs to be pitched as something in-story then. Like trying to drum up business or other forms of advertisement. I feel like that's another aspect of Bronze Buster that could be made useful, she's the one always pitching these sorts of suggestions, maybe as a joke maybe seriously.

>Dynamo League Halloween Special: The Fearsome Journey III

>They made their way to the nearest bus stop, the streetlights casting a soft glow over the quiet Halloween night. As they waited, Lester fidgeted with his hands, his eyes darting around nervously. Joe just stood there, calm and steady as always, his hands stuffed into his jacket pockets.
>After a short ride, they got off the bus in the Valley Neighborhoods—a section of Trunktown known for its maze of alleys and old architecture. The streets here were a stark contrast to the bustling trick-or-treating areas; it was quiet, almost abandoned, with only the occasional creak of a rusty sign swaying in the breeze.
>"Alright, follow me," Lester whispered, motioning for Joe to keep close. He led him through a series of winding alleyways, his pace quick but cautious. Eventually, they reached a dead-end with an old, rusted backdoor.
>Joe looked around, unimpressed. "This the place?"
>Lester didn’t answer. Instead, he raised his hand and knocked in a strange rhythm—three quick taps, a pause, then two taps, a pause, and finally one long tap. As he finished the sequence, he whispered a few words under his breath in an ancient-sounding language.
>There was a brief shimmer in the air around the doorframe, like a mirage bending reality, and then the door glowed faintly before creaking open on its own, revealing a swirling vortex of mist and dimly glowing lights within.
>Joe whistled softly, genuinely impressed. "Not bad, kid. Not bad at all."
>>
>>146127533
>Lester just nodded, motioning for Joe to follow him through. They stepped inside, and the mist enveloped them momentarily before dispersing to reveal a hidden world.
>They found themselves in a bustling, otherworldly marketplace filled with magical creatures of all shapes and sizes. Fairies flitted above in soft glows of light, goblins haggled with vendors, and creatures Joe couldn't even name were going about their business as if it were the most normal thing in the world.
>Joe looked around, clearly intrigued. "What is this place?"
>"It's called The Veiled Haven," Lester explained with a small grin. "It’s a hidden society for magical creatures and anyone who’s part of the supernatural world. Only those who know the way can get in."
>They wandered through the winding streets of The Veiled Haven, passing by shops selling enchanted trinkets, potion ingredients, and charms. Joe took it all in, nodding with a smile as he watched a goblin and a mermaid argue over the price of a moonstone.
>As they walked, Lester gave Joe a curious look. "So, is your wife a were-coyote or something?"
>Joe laughed, the sound carrying over the strange ambiance of the place. "Nah, she’s not a were-coyote. She’s a coyote shapeshifter."
>Lester tilted his head, confused. "What’s the difference?"
>Joe thought about it for a second, searching for a way to explain it that made sense. "Alright, think of it like this. A were-coyote would be like a rally driver—fast, adaptable, but bound to certain 'rules' of the curse, you know? They’re part human, part animal, but it’s… more chaotic, less controlled."
>"Okay… and a shapeshifter?"
>>
>>146127540
>"Shapeshifters are like Formula 1 drivers," Joe continued, getting into it. "They can shift at will, it’s smooth, controlled. She’s got mastery over it. Liza can go from human to coyote and back, no full-moon nonsense or uncontrollable shifts."
>Lester nodded a look of realization crossing his face. "Got it. So, she’s not like a half-and-half all the time."
>"Exactly," Joe said with a grin. "And just to clear it up—she’s my girlfriend, not my wife."
>Lester raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "Really? Willow mentioned you two have been together for years. Why haven’t you proposed?"
>Joe went silent for a moment, Joe’s smile falters for a moment, and he mutters under his breath, "That girl talks too much…", Then, he looked at Lester and shrugged. "It’s not that simple. Liza… she’s a free spirit. An untamed beast, in the best possible way. I love her, but I know marriage isn’t something she’s ready for. Not yet."
>"But… if you love her, why not just tell her you want to get married?" Lester asked, his young, earnest face full of innocent curiosity.
>Joe chuckled, finding Lester’s naïveté endearing. "Kid, relationships aren’t that straightforward. You can’t just throw your feelings at someone and expect them to feel the same way. You’ve got to care about their emotions, their dreams, their fears. It’s a balancing act."
>Lester looked at him, wide-eyed. "So… you’re waiting because of her?"
>"Exactly," Joe said, his voice softer. "Liza completes me, Lester. She gets me like no one else does. But I respect her freedom, her wildness. Sometimes, in love, the best thing you can do is wait, and let them come to you when they’re ready."
>>
>>146127555
>Lester looks thoughtful, absorbing Joe’s words as they continue to weave through the magical crowd There’s a slight, knowing smile on Joe’s face as he looks around The Veiled Haven—a world that, in some ways, mirrors his relationship with Liza: unpredictable, mysterious, but undeniably full of magic.
>Joe and Lester continued through the winding streets of The Veiled Haven, dodging the occasional fairy and sidestepping groups of goblins haggling over odd trinkets. They eventually found themselves in front of an old, dimly lit Chinese artifact shop. A carved wooden sign with intricate dragon designs hung above the door, swaying slightly in the breeze.
>"This is the place," Lester whispered, looking up at Joe. "My uncle, Draven Bloodthorn, is good friends with the owner. She might be able to help us track the ring."
>They pushed open the door, a small bell ringing as they entered. The shop was filled with an eclectic assortment of ancient Chinese artifacts—jade statues, porcelain vases, ink paintings, and shelves lined with scrolls and incense burners. The air was thick with the smell of aged wood and sandalwood incense, giving the place a mysterious, almost timeless atmosphere.
>Lester looked around and called out, "Hello? It’s Lester, Draven Bloodthorn’s nephew! We need your help."
>A woman’s voice echoed from somewhere deeper in the shop, her tone firm and commanding. "I’m busy, and I sense a mortal with you, boy. Mortals aren’t allowed here. Leave now, or face the consequences."
>The threat hung heavy in the air, but Joe merely smirked. He stepped forward and raised his voice. "Name’s Joe. I’m here to help Lester. We’re just looking for some assistance."
>>
>>146127557
>For a few moments, there was nothing but silence. Joe’s eyes scanned the shadows, his instincts kicking in. Suddenly, he heard the faintest rustle—a sound only someone trained would pick up on. Without hesitation, he pushed Lester out of the way and spun around just in time to intercept a swift, clawed strike aimed at his head.
>A pale figure with black hair tied in a red bow landed gracefully before him, her cold, piercing gaze locked onto him. She was a Jiangshi—a Chinese hopping vampire—with pale, ethereal skin and dressed in an elegant, black traditional Chinese outfit embroidered with red and gold details.
>Joe took a step back, adopting a defensive stance as she lunged at him again, her movements fast and precise. They exchanged a series of blows, her claws swiping close to his face while Joe countered with a series of swift blocks and strikes. Their fight was a graceful dance, a blur of motion in the dimly lit shop, with each of them matching the other in skill.

>The Jiangshi spun, delivering a high kick toward Joe’s head. He ducked under it, twisting and throwing an elbow aimed at her ribs. She evaded with ease, barely shifting her weight as she swiped again, her claws aimed at his chest. Joe blocked with his forearm, the impact sending a jolt up his arm. Their eyes met briefly, both recognizing the other’s level of skill and expertise.
>With a grin, Joe swept his leg low, attempting to trip her, but she hopped over it effortlessly, landing with feline grace. She retaliated with a palm strike toward his chest, but Joe parried it and twisted her wrist, using her momentum to pull her forward. She spun out of his hold with fluidity, landing a short distance away, her expression intrigued.
>"Not bad," she said with a sly smile, clearly impressed. "For a mortal, you’ve got some moves."
>"Thanks," Joe replied, catching his breath with a slight grin of his own. He took a step back, studying her closely. Then, a flicker of recognition crossed his face. "Yèhuá (夜华)... is that you?"
>The Jiangshi’s eyes widened in surprise as she looked him over more carefully. "lǎohǔ (老虎)? Is that you?" she asked in Chinese, her voice now filled with excitement.
>Joe nodded, switching to Chinese as well. "Yes, it’s me!"
>Without hesitation, they embraced warmly, a stark contrast to their earlier exchange of strikes. It was clear that their bond went far beyond a mere acquaintance.
>Lester, who had been watching the entire encounter with a mixture of shock and confusion, stared at them in disbelief. "Wait... you know each other?"
>Joe chuckled, pulling back from the hug and giving Yèhuá an affectionate smile. "Yeah, Yèhuá here is an old friend from my childhood."
>Lester’s jaw practically hit the floor. "CHILDHOOD FRIEND? ARE YOU CHINESE?!"

>She has many suitors mostly girls who see her as the school prince
>Many compare her to a model as she's a fashionable young lady
>Never showing a sign of failure or losing her noble aura.
>She has a secret though, she turns into a heroine named Dumbstruck
>Dumbstruck is a well meaning ditzy heroine, with a heart of gold
>She rushes headlong into battles and situations much to Theo's chagrin
>As Dumbstruck and her are in a quasi arm race
>Dumbstruck is her own personality and has her own goals and motivations which tend to get into Theo's way
>She's a strong young heroine, instantly rising to one of the top heroes around
>Her rival and arch villain is
>Hugo Quinn, aka Anomaly
>He's a mostly quiet nerdy boy at school unlike Theo he's seen as approachable and has more friends
>But he usually likes to be left alone to do nerdy things and work on his own stuff.
>Though this is hard as he's been marked by Theo who has a rivalry with him
>She's one of the few people he doesn't get along with in his normal life
>But as a villain he's Anomaly, a genius villain with telekinetic powers
>He's been marked as Dumbstrucks main villain even though he's not interested at all.
>Anomaly may also be getting harrassed by her, she totally has a crush on him which he's not a fan of
>Especially since he knows Theo is dumbstruck

Death Nellie, initially a minor Diving Belle character, later adopted by THEFAPV Anon for her eponymous project.

To be fair, she's hardly on that too, there isn't much written down about her.

Thank you. I wanted to do some fanart of her tomorrow!

So, is an anon already developing her character?
>>
>>146138860
THEFAPV anon has expanded on the initial concept by adding a backstory where she was transformed from an evil crone to a heroic goth bimbo by a meddling trickster.
>>
>>146138926
Ok! That's a lot of fun. So anyone then can expand on the character now?

Of course. That's the basic premise of /coc/.

>So there's a whole magic underbelly of Trunktown that Joe didn't know about?
well yes and no, yes there is a secret magical society that uses those doors as shortcuts or portals(think of it like that brick train wall from Harry Potter). and no Joe heard of rumors about a gateway to another place in his town but thought it was just a made-up story.
yes, he knows that magic exists but didn't know it was under his nose.

>What happens when magic crimes make their way to the surface?
it's not under trunktown and it's more a "mirrored world" like the two places exist but they are not near each other.
as for your questions well, in this universe, some superheroes and some magic users don't go along well (not enemies but more of rivalry and a sort of cold war) and they have some rules and agreements between them when it comes to things like this and one of them is:
>In a superhero's territory, if a magic-related crime occurs, it’s the superhero's responsibility to intervene—provided there are no magic users present. However, they do not have the authority to judge or arrest the perpetrator based on that society's laws. Instead, they must wait for a magic user to take on that role. The same principle applies to supervillains operating in a magical context.
So if a magic crime happens in Trunktown, Dynamo League will make sure to at least stop it and wait for a registered magic user to come (technically they have wonder-coyote but she is more of a warrior with some magic in her kek).
And this is why i will use Willow and Lester's friendship later in the main story to show that yes heroes and magic users can work together and have a friendly relationship

expanding my autistic idea
>Doughnut’s crew of mercenaries consists of himself, Silicon, and Wolfram
>they act as the ore counterparts to Lapis, Peridot, and Jasper respectively
>unlike their gem counterparts they actually remain a evil team and act as rivals to the MM
>Doughnut is a snarky dick to most people but deeply cares for those he considers his friends and acts as the glass canon of the group
>Silicon is a overly serious autist who acts as the team engineer and tactician
>instead of being a midget like peridot, silicon is a cripple lacking both his legs and right hand using cybernetics in their place
>Wolfram(tungsten) is basically the MM counterpart to Jasper
>looks like a norse berserker wearing a wolf pelt
>makes up for his lack of speed by being incredibly strong and nearly indestructible
>uses a large Drill gun as a weapon
>is the most loyal to Gold out of the his original anti-stella task force
>is obsessed is loyalty and brotherhood
>is extremely blunt and direct with his speaking being more focused with his job
>despite being greedy mercenaries they still share the same found family bond that the CG and MM have

This sounds like the type of thing Saint Neil should be exploiting. He wouldn't give a damn about these rules.
But does he hate magic for making his "irregulars" less special?

damn anon you really ask really good questions
kudos to you.
and you honestly gave me an idea for Neal so thanks
for your question, i must say that Neal considers any power that was got by birth as lesser even if it a god-like.
also, one of the heroes' biggest problems is how much paperwork because of how authoritarian and control freak High authority are (it's in the name) for example, Joe had to fill out a lot of papers not just to adopt Willow but also to register her as a sidekick (since she isn't his biological daughter so he had to prove that she isn't a scientific experiment or a biological weapon) and yes Willow is still registered as a sidekick because the minimum age to be registered as a hero is 17.
>>
>>146142371
A super villain/terrorist leader should be exploiting every angle.
It's a damn shame Neil doesn't have at least one devil lawyer on his team because if he did, then the Sun Phoenix movement could really fuck up the High Authority at their own game. Make the situation such a legal nightmare for them that they become paralyzed under the weight of their own paperwork, and if they shirk it off then Neil can make a public denouement of them showing that they don't give a damn about the rules they claim to install and follow. But Neil can't do that because he doesn't give a shit about normal people, so he's locked out of the route of swaying the masses with rhetoric.

He's really shooting himself in the knees with that ideology. They way his sort make changes to society is to convince the people he's right to the degree they follow him around like a bunch of baby ducks, then intentionally walk over a storm drain to get rid of the ones that can't already fly (have powers).

On a different note, I didn't think the holiday stories were "canon" to the main story, so hearing that Willow and Lester are going to have a team up later to bridge some of the gaps is interesting.

The Adventures Of Ninjoe - Mini Story 1 - Prison!

>Somewhere, actually maybe nowhere at all, or everywhere, in a strange extradimensional space prison! The Tesseract!

>We see three horrible criminals playing a relaxing game of Spacelance the Tabletop RPG!

>3.5 super advanced limited edition Wizco. East version, "because it's the best one trust me!"

>From left to right, dear reader we shall now name these three criminals!

> The Usurping emperor, who brough civil war to the Helian system hundreds of years ago! Setting it ablaze and taking many intergalactic worlds as well! Arom the serpent!

>In the center we have the horror from space, razer of worlds and incomprehensible horror, The Cluster!

>And we lastly we have the thirds other razer of world, because of course there is, alien warlord Gar'lar the magnificent!

>These three, who have killed billions, perhaps more and commited the greatesr atrocities have been confined to this hellish place for thousands of years (from their perspective, time works different in here!"

>"alright, so now your character Grom The Bastard steps aboard the space princesses' ship! She's all clad in jewels and like low cut dress and all that!"

>Arom takes a puff of his ciggarette!

>"Uh uh.. and i guess ah ask uh when we get to fuck and all?"

>"No Arom, you have to get a quest first, it's a whole 10 hour campaign i made up man!"

>"*Sighhh* alright fine, what if i use the gold from our previous game?"

>"nope you spent that right before this one"

>"no ah didn't"

>"well you didn't but i basically did like a whole reset minus stats and equipment and shit"

>Once again Former emperor Arom lets out a huge groan, while Gar'lar continues to fiddle with the instructions.

>"Wait so, basically i've been reading this shit and i still don't know which piece is supposed to be my character"

>"It's the Green one o' Fjolar the wanderer!"

>"Ok, for the 28th fucking time i don't know what you mean by 'green' "
>>
>>146142961

>Arom lets out another groan

>"The color, Green"

>"I don't know what the color green is, i'm pretty sure my species doesn't have that in our spectrum"

>"Makes sense, pretty sure most of the plants on yer planet are red"

>"Yeah Cluster, can we change some of the rules and stuff? You need to accomodate my whole situation"

>The Cluster flares up in a rainbow of horror!

>"SILENCE. YE MEAKLING THINGS. WE AM THE CLUSTER. THE CLUSTER IS HIGHEST HERE. THE CLUSTER DEMANDS YOU OBEY."

>"Listen C-man, ah wanted tah get us a TV so ah can check up on what's happenin on mah o'l stomping ground, i couldn't care less bout this piece a shit game. Ah won't be stuck here for long, ah will reclaim my throne. Blood. Will. Be. Spilt. Once i get back "

>"Dude, you've been saying that for like 500 years at this point, well techbically 17000 years in here, but still."

>"The spaht is keepin meh ahlive hombre"

>"Well if it makes you feel any better, your homeworld will soon cease to be man"

>Both Ga'rlar and Arom let out a confused "Hm?"

>"Dude check out the vessel i've been possessing for a few centuries man"

>"... holeh shit, yer a Starheart ain'tcha?"

>"Yeah a Grallian, so it's not THE Starheart of your whole royalty thing in case you were asking"

>"Yep, found this one sitting in space cold, anyways, they're powers went crazy for some reason and all their 'starheart' battery things ripped themselves out of their bodies and the collective enrrgy formed a giant dragon thing that's been devouring stars and worlds and shit"

>"Really?"

>"Yeah just what i could gaige from this body's memories before it died."

>Gar'Lar chimes in

>"Oh yeah, i remember hearing about that thing, it's called 'The Starbeast' crazy bugger.. seemed far from your world though"

>"Huh.. well shit.... yknow maybe ah'll do something cliche and break out and support mah homeworld tah fight that thing "

>"Will you?"

>"Maybe, i dunnow, ah just wanted that TV"

you need to understand something about Saint Neal and that he is a prideful and arrogant person who is too prideful to admit that he is wrong and that he isn't ready nor capable of changing anything yet but his followers are enabling those ideas by filling him with a false feeling of importance and with him knowing that high authority is looking for him (they mostly want to know how he escaped so it's more of how he got out than that he got out) which made him feel like a tactical genius however with the museum fiasco now he will change his approach especially now he kinda knows that there an entity with him (the boss) but your suggestion is really good that I might do something similar so thanks.
and holy shit this whole concept gave a better idea and a better plotline!
i needed a reason for the Sun Phoneix to come to trunktown in particular other than the obvious reason of the town having a lot of irregulars but now i have a more "logical" one
> I didn't think the holiday stories were "canon" to the main story
oh yeah, I said that before, some parts are canon, some aren't (the pic) and with the summer special I will add Ann as canon but anything else isn't canon.

>hearing that Willow and Lester are going to have a team up later to bridge some of the gaps is interesting.
to spoil a lot but basically, a great threat to Earth will come, so everyone has to come along to defeat it.
And hopefully this will be a really good story arc that will lead to the introduction and transition to Power-Beaver (adult Willow) and her adventures and if you are wondering yes somehow I was planning for this for a while now.

Go ahead and characterize her as you wish based on the miscelanious characters wiki page, the nature of these projects being made by multiple people at once is different interpretations.
My interpretation of her personality it
>doesnt care about people just her ghost simps
>will tearfully say goodbye to a ghost passing on but kick an empty corpse out the way
>sees as ghosts only as the little blue blobs from her wiki image
>will get drunk at a company Christmas party and ramble about /pol/x/-tier conspiracy theories that even in the /co/verse have no concrete proof of
>cares so little about her Comrades that she doesn't know the names of any hero or villian in the /co/verse
>doesnt even treat her ghosts as people more like pets but her ghosts don't mind they stick around because they like her tits
>can imbue energy into her ghosts to be a very weak psychic that can stop things like fists or weapons with knock-back
>can use a ghost to posses a person but has to be an unconscious human, not a partial or non-human
I'm not sure if ghost, fairies, and demons are things that can be seen by anyone or only certain people but if it's the latter she can only see ghosts, thos the ghosts might be able to see the demons and relay that to her.
In my comic I really just put the ghosts in panels where they needed to be implying that thos panels were from her pov while most panels they were unseen.
Also from her perspective as a hag she enslaved the ghosts but as a bimbo she pampers them and her ghosts actually influence her to be a hero.

>Dynamo League Halloween Special: The Fearsome Journey IV

>The dim light of the artifact shop cast soft shadows around Joe and Lester as they stood before Yèhuá. She stepped back, her expression still amused, though a hint of nostalgia lingered in her eyes as she looked at Joe with fondness.
>Lester, still trying to wrap his head around the situation, looked at Joe with a confused expression. “Wait, so… you’re Chinese?”
>Joe chuckled, crossing his arms. “Technically, yeah. I was raised in a Shaolin temple.” He paused, a reminiscent smile touching his lips as he thought back to the years of discipline and training. “My Shifu took me in when I was really young with my other brothers. He taught me everything—martial arts, meditation, the old ways. He was… a father to me, in a way.”
>Lester fell silent, staring at Joe with newfound awe. He scratched his head, looking a bit embarrassed as he muttered, “It’s just… you don’t look Chinese.”
>Joe burst out laughing, the sound echoing in the shop. “Trust me, kid, I get that a lot.” He leaned in, a mischievous glint in his eye. “But if you think that’s surprising, wait till you hear about my teenage years in Japan.”
>Lester’s eyes widened with curiosity, clearly about to ask a thousand questions, but before he could say anything, Yèhuá folded her arms, tilting her head with an amused expression. “Joe,” she interrupted, her voice light with teasing, “I want to hear more about you now. All these years, you’ve been… what, wandering around the world?”
>Joe turned to her, his expression softening. “A lot’s changed, Yèhuá. I’ve got a daughter now… and a girlfriend.”
>Yèhuá raised an eyebrow, her lips curling into a playful smirk. “A girlfriend?” she teased, leaning closer. “Since when does The Tiger settle down?”
>>
>>146147229
>Joe chuckled, shaking his head. “Yeah, yeah. I know it’s hard to believe, but I’ve found someone special. She’s wild, fierce, untamed… and I wouldn’t trade her for anything.” His face softened even more as he spoke, the affection clear in his voice.
>Yèhuá’s smirk turned to a genuine smile as she saw the happiness in his eyes. “Look at you, all grown up and in love.” She nudged him lightly. “What happened to the reckless boy I used to know?”
>“Guess he grew up,” Joe replied with a shrug, though the playful glint never left his eyes.
>Yèhuá’s expression shifted slightly, a hint of wistfulness crossing her face as she took in his words. But it didn’t last long; she quickly masked it with another smile. “And what are you doing here, in Trunktown, of all places?”
>Joe grinned, a glint of pride in his eyes. “I’m a superhero now. The Dynamo League, we’re called. We protect this city, help those who can’t help themselves.”
>Yèhuá’s brows lifted in surprise, her gaze assessing him with newfound respect. “A superhero…?” She let out a small, amused huff. “Of all the things I imagined you’d become, that wasn’t one of them.”
>Joe chuckled, scratching the back of his neck. “Yeah, I know it sounds crazy. But it feels right. Trunktown… it’s like I was meant to be here.”
>Yèhuá tilted her head, studying him thoughtfully. After a moment, she offered a genuine smile, warmth and pride in her eyes. “Then I’m happy for you, Joe. You’ve found your purpose.”
>“Thanks, Yèhuá,” he replied, a soft, heartfelt gratitude in his tone.
>Lester, who had been watching the exchange with wide eyes, finally blurted out, “Wait—so you’ve got a Coyote shapeshifter girlfriend, you’re a superhero, and you’re friends with a vampire kung fu master?” He looked back and forth between Joe and Yèhuá, completely bewildered. “What kind of life do you have?”
>>
>>146147249
>Joe just laughed, ruffling Lester’s hair. “Kid, I’ve got a life you wouldn’t believe.”
>Lester’s mouth opened to ask more questions, but Yèhuá quickly cut him off with a smile that seemed almost mischievous. “Alright, enough reminiscing. You’re here for a reason, aren’t you?”
>Joe nodded, his expression turning serious again as they remembered the mission.
>Joe turned to Lester, placing a comforting hand on his shoulder. "Alright, Lester. Why don’t you tell Yèhuá what happened?"
>Lester’s face flushed with embarrassment, and he looked down at his feet, shuffling awkwardly. “Well… I, uh…” He took a deep breath, gathering his courage. “I… I borrowed my uncle’s phoenix ring.”
>Joe raised an eyebrow, but stayed silent, letting Lester continue.
>“It… it wasn’t supposed to be a big deal. I just… thought I could… I dunno, wear it, maybe try it on for a little while,” Lester stammered, glancing up briefly at Joe before looking back down. “But then it got… stolen.”
>Yèhuá’s eyes narrowed. “Stolen? By whom?”
>“A… a grey raven,” Lester said, swallowing hard. “It had this… weird red symbol on it. I don’t know what it means, but it just swooped down and took the ring right off my finger.”
>The color drained from Yèhuá’s face, and she stepped back slightly, crossing her arms with a tense expression. “This is… this is very bad, Lester,” she said, her voice low. “Do you even know what that ring is capable of?”
>Lester shook his head slowly, his eyes wide with worry. “No… I mean, I knew it was special, but…”
>>
>>146147260
>“That ring grants the bearer healing, eternal youth, and enhanced strength,” Yèhuá explained, her voice grave. “It’s an ancient artifact, one your uncle was wise to keep protected. But if it fell into the wrong hands…” Her gaze darkened. “And if a grey raven stole it, marked with a red symbol… there’s only one person who would dare to send such a creature.”
>“Who?” Joe asked, his tone tense, readying himself for whatever lay ahead.
>“Aldric Thorn,” Yèhuá whispered, her eyes cold with disdain. “An ancient vampire, dangerous and cunning. He’s been hunting magical artifacts for centuries. With that ring, he could become unstoppable.”
>Realization dawned on Lester’s face, and his shoulders slumped. His voice shook as he whispered, “This is… this is all my fault. I shouldn’t have taken it. I… I thought it was just a fancy ring, and now…” His voice broke, and he looked away, clenching his fists. “I’m… I’m worthless. I messed everything up, like always. Maybe I deserve to be left alone. I’m nothing but trouble…”
>Joe’s heart ached at the sight of Lester’s self-loathing. Without a second thought, he stepped forward, grabbing Lester by the shoulders and shaking him gently but firmly. “Hey. Stop that. Right now.”
>Lester looked up, startled, tears beginning to well in his eyes.
>“You’re not worthless, Lester,” Joe said, his voice strong and unwavering. “We all make mistakes. This doesn’t make you any less of a person. You’re brave for owning up to it, and that’s something not everyone would do.”
>“But… I…”
>Joe didn’t let him finish, pulling Lester into a hug, holding him close. “Listen to me, kid. We’re going to get that ring back. Before your uncle comes back, and before anyone else gets hurt. You’re not alone in this.”
>>
>>146147275
>Lester hesitated for a moment, but then he hugged Joe back tightly, letting out a shaky breath. Joe could feel the tension slowly leaving the boy’s shoulders.
>After a moment, Lester pulled back, his eyes red but determined. “Thank you, Sir. I… I won’t let you down.”
>Joe smiled, ruffling Lester’s hair. “That’s the spirit. Now, let’s get to work.”
>Joe turned to Yèhuá, who was watching the scene with a soft, almost motherly expression. “Yèhuá,” he asked, “is there any way you can help us track the ring?”
>Yèhuá thought for a moment, tapping her fingers on her chin. “Give me a moment,” she said, turning and disappearing into the back of her shop.
>As they waited, Joe glanced at Lester with a sly grin. “So, what’s the real reason you wanted to get the ring, huh?”
>Lester’s face turned red, and he looked down, mumbling under his breath, “I… I wanted to… impress Willow.”
>Joe couldn’t help but chuckle, nodding approvingly. “Ahh, now i see. Don’t worry, Lester, I get it. Believe me, I would’ve done the same thing if I was in your shoes.” He gave Lester a playful nudge. “Takes guts to do something like that. Willow’s lucky to have someone who’d go through so much for her.”
>Lester’s embarrassment turned into a shy smile, and he looked up at Joe with a newfound sense of confidence. “Thanks, Sir.”
>Just then, Yèhuá returned, holding an old, weathered map in her hands. The paper looked ancient, with intricate markings and symbols etched into it, almost glowing faintly in the dim light of the shop.
>Joe raised an eyebrow, a smirk on his face. “An ancient map, huh? Really going old-school here, Yèhuá.”
>Yèhuá rolled her eyes, though a hint of amusement flashed across her face. “This isn’t just any map,lǎohǔ.” She held it out, allowing them both to see. “This is a magical map. It’s enchanted to track the presence of powerful artifacts—like the phoenix ring.”
>>
>>146147294
>Lester’s eyes widened as he stared at the map, watching as the symbols shifted and changed every few seconds, as if the paper itself was alive. A faint pulse emanated from one corner of the map, almost like a radar.
>“It works by sensing magical energy,” Yèhuá explained. “Every few seconds, it updates to reflect the location of the ring. Follow the pulse, and it should lead you right to Aldric Thorn.”
>Lester’s face lit up, his earlier fears replaced by a determined spark. “We’re going to get that ring back. I know we can do it.”
>Joe smiled, placing a hand on Lester’s shoulder. “That’s the spirit. We’ll do this together.”
>Yèhuá watched them, a fond expression on her face. As Joe turned to her, he extended his arms, pulling her into a warm embrace. “Thanks for everything, Yèhuá. I… I hope we’ll see each other again soon.”
>She lingered in his arms for a moment before pulling back, a playful glint in her eyes. “Oh, I’m sure you will.” And before he could react, she leaned in and planted a sneaky kiss on his cheek.
>Joe’s eyes widened, and he let out a huff. “Yèhuá…”
>She grinned, knowing exactly what she’d done. “Consider it a little goodbye gift, Tiger.”
>Joe sighed, shaking his head with an exasperated grin. “Come on, you know Liza’s got an incredible sense of smell! There’s no way she’s not going to catch a whiff of this”
>Yèhuá only laughed, waving them toward the door. “Then you better hurry up before she catches on.”
>With Lester by his side, Joe turned toward the door, his face determined yet carrying a faint blush as he tried to discreetly rub the scent off his cheek. As they left the shop and stepped into the cool night air, the map pulsed in Joe’s hand, guiding them toward the next step of their journey.
>And with Lester at his side, bolstered by newfound courage, they set off into the night, ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead.

Two questions:
>doesnt even treat her ghosts as people more like pets but her ghosts don't mind they stick around because they like her tits
1. Are the ghosts mostly male, then?
>Also from her perspective as a hag she enslaved the ghosts but as a bimbo she pampers them and her ghosts actually influence her to be a hero.
2. Were her powers greater as a hag?
>>
>>146143648
The Christmas holidays are indeed a pain.
>>
>>146147854 #
1. Yeah the ghosts that follow her are male or the odd lesbian but Death Nellie doesn't see them as gendered people so I doubt it effects her sexuality as she's call human bodies gross in general
2. Probably, but if she had any powers they were stipped when she got bimbo-fied. The stick that did it >>146138615 # was a fetish weapon that would drive the victim insane via bimbofication and kill them by shrinking their brain physically. Death Nellie's unique physical makeup as an autistic old insane and deteriorating brained magical hag caused a strange side effect of it basically making her brain normal and the stick imidiatly getting broken might have stopped the transformation (she took the stick broke it and smacked Syzygy with it, and imidiatlystarted fawning over her ghosts setting the ones enslaved at the time free)
>>
>>146148779
Makes sense. Bimbofication stuff I've seen often has an element of powering down or rendering the subject harmless.

Was a great idea by a anon, happy you liked it and the art was pretty dynamic and fun as well. So really sold me on the telekinsis power and the heart themed powers for dumbstruck

I can't do fight scenes to save my life, especially on what is essentially Kaioken times 3 Goku vs. Full Power Vegeta, but with Office Worker Gert with the Heart of Fairyland vs. Evil Queen Gert.

Death Nellie line art. Playing with her concept a little.

A bubbly young hero. Her superpowers fill her ectoplasmic energy—which she’s allergic to. Constantly stuffed up, she can now summon ghostly simps by sneezing.

>Dynamo League Halloween Special: The Fearsome Journey V

>Joe and Lester were trekking through the narrow alleys of Trunktown, their eyes glued to the pulsing glow on the enchanted map. The map seemed to be pulling them further away from the city center, drawing them out toward the outskirts of town. After a while, Joe glanced down at the map with a frown.
>"This thing's leading us pretty far out," he muttered, his brow furrowing."Where exactly are we going, kid?"
>"Uh…"Lester squinted at the shifting symbols on the map, trying to make sense of the ancient script. Finally, his eyes lit up in realization. "It's… it's pointing to Aldric Thorn's mansion. But… it's not in Veiled Haven."
>Joe raised an eyebrow."Not in Veiled Haven? So, where is it?"
>"It’s in Wraith Hollow."Lester replied, his voice barely above a whisper as he glanced nervously at Joe. "It's a whole different village. It's… kinda spooky."
>Joe let out a low whistle, eyeing the map with renewed determination."Wraith Hollow, huh? Alright. But if it's that far, we’ll never make it there on foot in time."
>Lester paused, fidgeting a bit as he seemed deep in thought. "Actually… I think I know how we can get there fast."
>Joe's face brightened, hopeful. "A teleportation spell or something? I knew hanging around Yèhuá would pay off."
>Lester shook his head and pulled out his smartphone, swiping through his apps until he opened one labeled Teleporter. With a quick tap, he ordered a ride.
>Joe stared at him, confused. "Wait… you’re telling me magic users have ride-sharing apps now?"
>"Yeah, it’s like Uber, but for magical places!" Lester grinned, as if this were the most obvious thing in the world.
>Joe blinked, dumbfounded. "So… you’re saying mages actually use smartphones? And apps?"
>>
>>146159838
>Lester chuckled, giving Joe a slightly smug look. "What, did you think we were all stuck in the Middle Ages? Just because we use magic doesn’t mean we don’t keep up with technology."
>Joe let out a hearty laugh, crossing his arms."I don’t know, kid. Somehow, I didn’t picture you wizards scrolling through social media and calling rides on your phones."
>Lester rolled his eyes, a playful grin on his face. "Yeah, well, you’d be surprised. A lot of us actually love tech. It’s not like we're living in caves, you know. I mean, come on, Sir—we’re magical, not medieval."
>Joe chuckled, giving him a playful nudge. "Alright, alright. I get it. You wizards have smartphones, too. Next thing you’ll tell me is that witches have a cooking show on the internet."
>Lester grinned even wider. "Actually, I...ehh...know a witch who has a pretty popular streaming channel."
>Joe raised an eyebrow, laughing even harder."You’re kidding!"
>"Not even a little bit," Lester replied, chuckling. "Magic folk are a lot more tech-savvy than people think. Half of them are probably more up-to-date on the latest gadgets than you are!"
>Joe just shook his head, grinning. "Well, I guess you learn something new every day. Alright, let's get moving then. Your ‘Teleporter’ better be fast."
>Lester held up his phone as the app confirmed their ride was on the way. "Don’t worry, Fast is what we do best."
>As Joe and Lester waited on the side of the road, a sleek, red car rolled up to them, its glossy finish gleaming even in the dim evening light. The window rolled down, revealing a middle-aged hobgoblin with a scruffy beard, tired eyes, and a generally cranky demeanor.
>“You two the ones who ordered a ride?” he grumbled, glancing between Joe and Lester with a look that was equal parts boredom and mild annoyance.
>“Yeah, that’s us,” Joe replied, grinning as he opened the passenger door. “Name’s Joe.”
>>
>>146159853
>“Seamus,” the hobgoblin muttered in response, barely sparing them a glance as Joe settled into the front seat and Lester climbed into the back.
>They drove in silence for a while, the car’s engine humming as the landscape outside shifted from Trunktown’s outskirts to the more rural scenery leading toward Wraith Hollow. Joe glanced over at Seamus, searching for a way to break the ice.
>“So… nice weather we’re having, huh?” Joe started, trying to sound casual.
>Seamus grunted, his eyes fixed on the road. For a moment, it seemed like he wasn’t going to respond, but then he spoke, his voice gruff but thoughtful. “Yeah, I guess so. Though I’ll tell you, it’s different from what it used to be. These days, everything feels… warmer.”
>Joe nodded, leaning back in his seat. “Tell me about it. I remember when we used to get real winters, you know? Snow piling up high, cold enough to freeze your bones.”
>Seamus huffed, a faint smirk tugging at the corner of his mouth. “Those were the days, weren’t they? Now it’s all rain this, drizzle that. Roads aren’t the same either. Used to be simpler, less traffic, fewer folks cutting across lanes like they own the road.”
>Joe chuckled, glancing out the window. “Guess that’s progress for you. Though, with all these changes, you think the driver’s job is sticking around? Heard a lot about self-driving cars lately.”
>>
>>146159866
>Seamus let out a scoff, shaking his head. “Self-driving cars? Pfft. Not worried about that. People always want someone real behind the wheel, someone they can chat with. Machines can’t make small talk. They don’t know how to handle the quiet moments. Folks need that natural experience. Besides, sometimes it’s just nice to have someone to complain about the weather with.”
>Joe laughed, nodding in agreement. “You got a point there. There’s something about small talk and sharing the ride with a real person, isn’t there?”
>They continued down the winding road, the scenery darkening as they neared their destination. Before long, their conversation had shifted to lighter topics, and Joe found himself discussing the merits of different cities.
>“I’m telling you, Seamus, Oakfield has the best pizza,” Joe insisted, a playful grin on his face.
>Seamus let out a low chuckle, shaking his head. “No way. Riversedge’s got that little spot by the river. Best slice you’ll ever have.”
>>
>>146159880
>“Alright, I’ll have to try it next time,” Joe replied, laughing. “But I’m telling you, Oakfield’s crust can’t be beat.”
>Finally, the car slowed as they approached the entrance to Wraith Hollow. The dark, looming trees cast eerie shadows across the road, and Aldric Thorn’s mansion loomed in the distance.
>Joe and Lester climbed out of the car, and Joe turned back to Seamus with a smile. “Thanks for the ride, Seamus. And hey, I’ll give you a good rating.”
>Seamus gave a little wave, slipping Joe a card with his number on it. “Anytime you need to get to a magical place, just call me. It’s hard to find a good driver these days.” He shot a wink at Joe before starting the engine again.
>As Seamus drove off, Joe pocketed the card and turned to Lester with a grin. “See? That’s the power of small talk, kid. Never know when a friendly chat might come in handy.”
>Lester rolled his eyes but smiled, looking up at the imposing mansion in the distance. “Yeah, yeah. So… back to the mission?”
>“Back to the mission,” Joe replied, his face growing serious as they started down the path towards Aldric Thorn’s mansion, ready to retrieve the phoenix ring.

Cute! I’m surprised he’s not smiling a little more though. Most boys that age would be ecstatic to catch a frogge.

Well, Arthur kind of speedrun maturation thanks of his natural intelligence and the fact that he mostly modelled his behavior after the adults at Braun mansion (he experienced little socialisation with his peers in his kindergarten/preschool days).
He is still pretty excited to have caught that frog though, make no mistake.
