1. Poland.
2. My first one was The Next Mutation, overall I grew up on Saban’s shows as someone from 1992’s.
Thus, imagine my shock watching Time Force one day on Fox Kids…
3. 2003, my second one. Not old enough to have watched 1987 show, unfortunately.

My first media were The Next Mutation, Famiclone video games, the film trilogy (they air that… surprisingly often in Poland, EXCEPT for the original thing) and 2003 cartoon only long after that.
The very first film definitely had one of my favourite depictions of Shredder, which I felt inspired DOS Manhattan Missions’ and NES Tournament Fighters’ appearance (well, the latter certainly, looking at his portrait).
It was also definitely nice to see him referenced in that Batman vs. TMNT cartoon adaptation!

2003 show tied with original live action movie. I recognize that TMNT 03 fell off later but 4 seasons is a longer stretch of good than any other TMNT show and the movie is just genuinely fun as fuck.

Nice seeing 2003’s April gets some love.

>>146294417
Huh, upon checking this on saucenao.com, it seems like its creator has updated that pic.
I guess due to the Rise’s film and the continuation of the cartoon based on it.
I was thinking of what also could’ve been included here.
Krang is… complicated. Karai had no appearance in the original show (except for two different SNES and Mega Drive Tournament Fighters designs, wonder if Red sky season ever planned adapting her?) and Dr. Stockman had no appearance in Rise so far.
Oddly enough, Kongregate’s smartphone game based around 1987 show made no use of those for Karai.

1990 Live Action movie. I've gone back and rewatched it over the years and it holds up way better than it has any right to. I wanted to like the IDW comics because there's the bones of a really good, cohesive combo of all previous TMNT media in there, but Waltz and IDW fucked up everything about that run.

>3. TMNT '87/ the first TMNT '03 game on gamecube because i got to play it with a friend

I only saw that 1 episode as a kid, grew up watching the '03 series, watched a good chunk of the 2012 series, and avoided rise.
Next mutation was shit, but It's the kinda shit i can watch and both make fun of and enjoy what charm it does have.

The 1990 Movie or one of the Gameboy/NES/SNES games. Actually, do the action figures count as "media"? Then the 80s line of action figures.
I'd love to read the original comics someday.

Oh, that explains it. Also...

Rise Donnie: (Aprils whiteness) Everything.

Damn, you were right (as if the .gif wasn't telling that…).
Interesting, I think what confused me was Jetix mainly doing reruns of that entire season, but occasionally airing single episodes of some other past ones too.
Half of the seasons’ titles were translated, half weren‘t. Time Force was the first dubbed series here.

Brazilian, 2k3, 2k12 but I think Rise had potential if only it was less goofy. If they had some more straightforward, "serious" stories like they had at the very end of S2 and the movie, it would be probably my favourite one, but as is right now, 2k12 is the most balanced in quality for me.
>>
>>146309822
I heard that Rise was continued on the basis of the story of its own film (which I watched before the series).
Was still surprised to see Krangs there, they seemed to mostly use their own characters outside of the core Mirage Comics’ ones.

3. My favorite piece of Turtles media is the 1990 movie, but Rise is my favorite series, with 2012 following up behind. The only series I don't really like at all is 2003.
>>
>>146311297
Impressive. I wonder if someone actually got those original Mirage Comics figures which also had tabletop game’s characters, I can't really find any good pictures of them online.
>>
>>146313188
Oh btw: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/palladiumbooks/teenage-mutant-ninja-turtles-and-other-strangeness .
I only found out about it quite recently, outside of those figures they only got used in that DOS Manhattan Missions game. I've always been curious about how other of their characters would look like in colour.
>>
>>146300442
Ohh wow, surprised it was even aired there.
Was it also only three original seasons like in Poland?
>>
>>146294417
Jesus christ what the fuck is wrong with Splinter, April, Shredder and Case for the 2018 one
>>
>>146294417
US, the first movie, 2003
>>
>>146315678
Well in the case of Casey, during rise there was this female foot clan member who was occasionally used but never properly introduced, until the end of the series where she finally introduces herself as Cassandra Jones.
Then in the movie, they put in a Casey who's from the future and the son of Cassandra as shown on this other list >>146295572

And 2018 Splinter is...weird. Like splinter was what filtered me at the start of the 2018 series because his first major episodes made him seem like an uncaring worthless lump. Eventually they salvaged the character but seriously, I don't know WHAT the fuck they were thinking on his characterization in the first few episodes.

1. Ukraine
2. 1987
3. Probably a tie between 1997 and 2003. It helps that both shows are LONG and have multiple diamonds in the rough, even in weaker seasons.

To be fair though, the first three Aprils are mostly portrayed as beautiful white redheads. 03 April would sometimes wear yellow, while 87 April's hair is mostly shown as being auburn
>>
>>146294417
The 2012 show is honestly so underrated it hurts
>>
>>146300786
I dunno. It seems like the consistent notion was to have a hot human girl there to do things the boys couldn't, and also just keep being hot, standing there. "Beauty and the Beast(s)" sells.

Even the 2018 reboot understood that, although the artists clearly were just going through the motions with their April, and I'm not talking about her being black. Just no sexiness, even though they ticked off some boxes. Imagine my surprise when we learned they'd been making more gay porn of the boys than art of their take on April.

And then there was Rogan explicitly making a hideous gross April that vomited on-camera. That's just Rogan's idea of humor. "What if April O'Neil, but I make April O'Neil fans annoyed by fucking her up? HA HA HA, Comedy gold!"

2. The 80s Cartoon, my Paternal Grandparents had a VHS tape of it.
