>>146294441Neat! >>146294622My first media were The Next Mutation, Famiclone video games, the film trilogy (they air that… surprisingly often in Poland, EXCEPT for the original thing) and 2003 cartoon only long after that.The very first film definitely had one of my favourite depictions of Shredder, which I felt inspired DOS Manhattan Missions’ and NES Tournament Fighters’ appearance (well, the latter certainly, looking at his portrait).It was also definitely nice to see him referenced in that Batman vs. TMNT cartoon adaptation!

I've gone back and rewatched it over the years and it holds up way better than it has any right to. I wanted to like the IDW comics because there's the bones of a really good, cohesive combo of all previous TMNT media in there, but Waltz and IDW fucked up everything about that run.
