Target: Sebastian Shaw!Comics in this thread:>Sentinels #2>Exceptional X-Men #3>Phoenix #5>Storm #2>Wolverine #3
Bump if you're reading.
Setting up Onslaught's return is probably the main reason to why this mini exists.
>>146441144Here for Carol [cameo]!
>Shaw managed to get himself thrown into Bagalia's only prisonHa!
>>146441156but he just came back during Krakoa
Onslaught jumpscare
Shaw is down, mission complete.
Wait a second, this is the diner from the FCBD special.
That Dazzler hoodie is 100% there to advertise her miniseries.
>Dog SentinelsSo we're following up on the teasers set up in Uncanny X-Men.
Do you really need live dogs for this? You clearly have the resources to make them fully robotic.
>>146441291you can say one thing about Breevort the man loves cross-promotion of other books in the line
And now for Exceptional X-Men.
Last time we got introduced to the other two new members of the team. But because Kitty still does not want to do X-Men stuff, Emma decided to step in and take it from here.
>"What are you doing here, Emma?"I mean it's rather obvious what she is doing.
>"From what I've been seeing, it seems like you do. If rather poorly."Ouch, Emma.
Oh you made her mad now
Is there a reason X books are always noticably later then the rest?
It's okay, Emma will cover that.
Thanks Priti for the new training locale.
>>146441372The guy who rips the X-Books rips them later than the other guys.
Oh dear, the flashback is showing that awful costume she used to wear.
>Bronze came up with all of the codenamesCute
You can tell that Emma has been preparing this for a while now.
Suddenly, goblins
>Emma was behind thatI mean it was a little obvious considering how sudden it was
Bobby is finally here, after appearing in the QR-code page from issue #1.
letters
And now for Phoenix.
It's the end of the arc, but things are going to change for Jean.
Hey look, it's Eternity.
The abstract entities are here.
This was teased in that RoTPoX variant cover
Oh right, we're still dealing with Gorr.
oof
>"You know...I can hear you."woops
Wait what are you doing here
huh
>The sword caused thatHmmm
Is it really a good idea to put him in charge?
And now for Storm.
>>146441144Bump
Wait you got another suit?
See this is why should have waited with talking about that kid in Oklahoma. Also, did you not get that checked?
>hair lossAlright, now you have to get it checked.
>>146441736Storm kidnapped my nigga Moo Deng
Wasn't there an issue that stated that hospitals in countries that recognized Krakoa got the medicine shipped to them for free?
>>146441438You can tell she asked tony to lends some money for top of the line suits that isnt "please dont kill me" x-force and X-factor suits
Suddenly, Oblivion
Look, it's Doctor Voodoo! You love Doctor Voodoo yes?
another note by Ayodele
And now for Wolverine.
>>146441700Eternity gave her one at the end of the last issue. It's kinda odd how she doesn't even acknowledge that it happened
>>146441650She will do to him what Darkseid did to his Thanos.
Got to quickly patch this guy up or else there'll be more wendigos running around.
Department H don't teach you about the wendigos?
Hey look, it's Agent Metha from last issue.
And we are back to the plotline from issue #1.Although how the hell did Cyber already get to Japan?
And speaking of issue #1, here's Lady Deathstrike!
And now she's gold too!
>>146441793>>146441815>wasted six hours trying to fly to HaitiThat's slower than an airplane, Nigga you know teleporters.
Next week: Uncanny X-Men #6, Mystique #2, Dazzler #3.And that's it! If you liked these, support your LCS or whatever.
>>146442061Constrictor is alive?
>>146442079It's the son of the originalhttps://marvel.fandom.com/wiki/Constrictor_(Frank_Payne%27s_Son)_(Earth-616)
>>146442098ahh phew forgot all about that.Glad they let the OG keep his respectful death.
>>146441835Sorry, I'm not Wanda.
>>146441274I now ship that guy's son and zebra girl.
>>146441786He's just butthurt that HIS hospital didn't get a big check like he did from all the other heroes.
>>146441772Fuck that bitch
>>146441786I feel like there could have been a much better reason for him to do than The X-men didn't pay me and Krakoa made my powers redundant. But I guess nothing else could be so easily solved.
>>146442544He could have been a doctor mad at the X-Men because the Krakoan pills ended up becoming weaponized by Orchis and killing patients or making them violent so that they had to be restrainedJust like last issue with the random mutant kid appearing in a nuclear reactor powered by alien tech, this is just bad writing
>>146441650If the Council seriously considers putting Thanos in charge just because they're that afraid of Jean Grey when she hasn't even done anything, then they truly are the dumbest people to ever exist.
>>146441237and it was kinda fucking dumb ngl. one of my favorite comics of the era until I bothered to reread it and realized it was kinda stupid
>>146441305Metal Garurumon soonish
>>146441786>>146441793>Hmm, I am a mutant that lives on Krakoa and got my self a hospital. Do I go and discuss this to the Quiet Council who would be open to supply me with pills and receive funding by X-Corp?>No I am going to immediately leave the island and be mad at the X-Men because...because I can okay!?Is this guy stupid
>>146442916>Do I go and discuss this to the Quiet CouncilMelter thouhg
>>146441138I can't be the only one who saw the energy bonner
>>146442964Melter was a retard who broke the rules
>>146441479Now the Diva trio is complete.
>>146441531The redesigns for the abstracts are terrible compared to the originals, why did they do it?
>>146443861to try and get them used more before GODS by Hickman you could probably count the number of times the Abstract appeared in Marvel comics on hand in this half-decade
>>146443981The majority of people shouldn't be dealing with Abstracts to begin with.
>>146441282I mean, they were giving out super medicine which is more than just fucking off
>>146441274vutthey just sell curds like that?
>>146441531>Shuma's toupee
>>146441391Shouldn't Emma Frost be famous to the general public?
>>146444215considering that there was an Interpol warrant for her, yesThen again she probably wiped the minds of the public regarding her existence
>>146441274They must have read the comments about how it was silly nobody wanted to bang the sexy zebra girl
>>146444211I almost don't want to correct you because it's funny but I think that is suppose to be Eon. Eon has been for dead 30 years.
>>146444438No that's Epoch but they drew her looking like Eon
>>146441189Hey when did you get buff?
>>146444112Marvel editorial disagree
I don't care for the Phoenix book and Storm is only a little better. There feels like there's this undercurrent of vanity in both books, like the writers can't demonstrate the lead characters are heroic, they have to have important supporting characters say how special the main character is, tell them that they're gods and they're the most powerful person ever. Nothing challenging happens.
>>146441222Ohyeah>>146441370you have icepowers now emmaor is that bobby providing backup artillery >>146441383it's just a matching outfit and a belt you slobthough the hair looks like it might need some doing.
>>146441509He just looks tied to Moon Knight now
>>146441650Are these niggas that retarded to hand control to fucking Thanos?
>>146441237And it wasn't the REAL Onslaught, it was just fakey wakey shake n bakey Orchis Onslaught created using Legion to rush the destabilization of mutant culture.
>>146441312They don't trust fully robotic anymore, and want something they can beat into loyalty before they augment it. You know, because Omega Sentinel didn't exist and work with Nimrod to fuck over humanity.
>>146443981All under Ewing
>>146441438HOREE SHEEY emma did you just age up 20 years offpanel!?oh right, emma, your glamour is off.>>146441466Money was on Magik ENTERingKitty soon>>146441479See?like that. Except not kitty, but he might go for the buff tranny.
>>146441330>don't you just hate it when our mommy and other mommy fight cover edition
>>146441138They really kill every cheesecake, no artist in these issues can make women with fat ass and big tits. not even the sexy action poses exist anymore and it's really the end of the leotard in marvel comics what was a meme has become true, it seems like I'm reading cw comics, it's rock bottom for marvel, lgbt in all comics, awfull stories, women who look like trannies, it's the end
>>146442044Was Adamantium given any special origin before now? I feel like it was just yet another sci-fi material
>>146441370Since when did Emma have FWOOSH powers? Is this a brap thing?
>>146441786i thought moony was doctor nemesis for a minute here
>>146444215I was going to say as much. I think >>146444258is probably right about the mind wipe, but I didn't think she could do that without a cerebro unit. Maybe she borrowed Scott's.
>>146445787>They really k-ACK!
>>146441413>"My goal is to NOT suck."Well too bad, the White Queen is your instructor.
>>146445709It cannot be overstated how dogshit the new Abstract's designs are the originals had pure soul
>>146441786Lmao did they just sneak in a "cheap Jew" joke about Moon Knight
>>146441790That's not the way it works now. She lends Tony money. Seriously, she stole from a bunch of different criminals including Roxxon, Hydra, AIM, DOOM! and gave Tony a share. That's how he bought back his company after bankrupting himself buying doomsday machines.
>>146445787Ororo has Rupal's face and body now
>>146445762That's a man
>>146445548Yeah both solo suffer from the same underlying problem, in fact I'm pretty sure Storm writer is in outright competition with Phoenix in trying to make her the bigger Mary Sue, he has already teased she will become eternity Herald or some shit like that just so she can be as cosmically powerful. He has no interest in having any form of real challenge in his book for Storm, the Jean and Phoenix shit is just plain boring, she's already going to face off against the like of Thanos wtf is she gonna do after that, there's very little that is interesting in term of conflict so far.
>>146441446Bronze's bronzing is pretty shite, not gonna lie. I mean it's probably better that she's a Kirkland Colossus compared to Melee being a Kirkland Kitty, but the poor kid's hair doesn't transform meaning her roots are still going to be flesh, presumably. Makes hair pulling an obvious weakness. On the other hand maybe she's just wearing purple extensions.
>>146445791It was trying to replicate vibranium
>>146442044Now I ain't saying she's a gold digger
>>146446302It might that her hair is metal now, but it is covered with dye so you can't tell by looking at it.
>>146445646She is in a Euphoria High tier jumpsuit
>>146441438I fucking love Emma and Frost as a contrasting mentor duo like Logan and Scott were. Why did it take this long for this dynamic to be done?
>>146447231>Emma and Frost
>>146447231Ignoring any issue with names, because Kitty would be imbalanced for most of her career as a rival position. She needed experience as a teacher before.
>>146446961Does she convert or does she cover herself like Piotr? She says she turns into metal, so probably the former. It's possible it doesn't change "dead" matter since hair itself isn't alive except at the root, but her nails are covered too. Also her eyes seem unchanged except for her pupils.Just making observations, I don't think this really solves the question at all.
>>146441668This one bums the fuck out of me after the first issue. I mean she tries to create her own Stormkoa (not sure where she got he funding; did she get half of the Wakandan treasury in the divorce?) but then one mutant has a bad transformation and everyone hates her and all mutants. Problem is powers having bad activations that cause damage and death is a known thing, and not even limited to mutants.I swear the Marvel citizens have the attention span of kittens.
>>146441786I guess maybe with his mutant medical powers he didn't need a fancy thing like a degree, or he'd have known it's the Hippocratic oath, not the hypocritical oath.
>>146441793>We won't cure you at this hospital>*1 priceless ruby + tip*>We can't cure you at this hospital
>>146449152Well at least he identified the problem.
>>146449347The most expensive consultation ever, to be honest. But hey at least he got her a referral to a voodoo witchdoctor!
>>146450239He's probably do it for free anyway since they both were Avengers.
>>146450339I mean voodoo wasn't the one she paid anyway, so it's a moot point, unless it turns out the ruby was costume jewelry or she employed her pick pocket skills to get it back.
>>146441685They should do a comic about a band of modern pirates with a bunch of different abilities who hunt on vessels to make money.
>>146441531Wait who are half of these guys?Ii recognize Eternity, the Living Tribunal, Infinity, Oblivion, the In-Betweener and Death, and Uatu and the CelestialsBut their dance partners aren't ringing any bells
