There's a good concept in there, but the writing was slapdash and full of poor decisions. It is missing elements that make time travel and what-if stories work - we don't really see the alternatives and consequences so that we can contrast them. We almost never saw the future. The stakes are never fully realized, and all we get are vapid character drama and awkwardness as humor.
Ironically, there was another cartoon that came out at the same time that was very low budget and made by Mormons of all people, which did go back and forth between the present and future. It worked better than this show. It had trite themes, but at least it had them.

Miraculous Ladybug is easily the most viewed cartoon on Disney right now, which is basically a giant will they wont they love triangle
Which between this and Ollie the TGAMM folly, I think Disney was trying to capitalize on the ship teasing and love triangling. TGAMM did it like absolute hacks though, and HOI was not much better (dropping the Becker crush immediately and there being no real conflict with Kristine either), plus the biggest factor is the characters arent white (or white hapa) like MLB's and while I find ladybug mostly boring it at least has some good action scenes compared to HOI/Amphibia exploding robots

The top videos are tangled shit, star vs shit, big city greens (yellow, but they're white hillbilly-coded), manlet falls, live action white girl shit, you have to really scroll down to find your first brown girl slop, Amphibia's first episode..
