While TGAMM had an array of mistakes and hiccups that helped contributed to it's downfall, notably Cousin Ollie and his awkward integration into the show's core character dynamic, I don't think they are the reason the show got canned early. If Bill and Bob are to be believed, the show was already doomed before Ollie even hit the airwaves. I think the other hard truth is that TGAMM failed to win that big of an audience to begin with. It had just enough spillover from TOH, Amphibia and previous cartoons to give it some measure of life, but the show itself never set real trends or break new ground, it was just another buddy comedy duo show that came and went, leaving behind only its cute girl cast for the internet to defile. Considering the way follow up cartoons, notably MGDD, Primos and HOI turned out (both their actual quality and the way they got treated by the channel), TGAMM was lucky to be even granted the dignity of a finale. It's sad, but it is what it is.
