Alright, fuck it, it's been almost a year since this volume released, the next one just came out and the English version's not in cinebook's catalogue to June. So, I guess I'll do a bit more of a "proper" scanlation. This isn't entirely new, I did a greentext version of it earlier in the year. For the most part, I have not conformed with cinebook's version of things, e.g. changing Fortville to Campton, Yvan to Ivan, etc.Hopefully they sort out the rights issues that are holding them up and we get a proper translation soon, and I don't have to keep doing this. As usual a download link will be posted in the win'o later, and I might post some spoilers for volume 15 for those who simply cannot wait. However, I won't bother scanning v15 since it will come out in digital on izneo at some point, as this did.
>>146722268finally, waiting for these to come out is painful.
As I mentioned previously, I'm old as fuck and don't have the benefit of a class of children to help me with the lingo. So if anyone's got any better suggestions, feel free. Apparently bare peak can be really good or really bad.
Nice one OP.I actually bought the latest french volume a few weeks ago, but I wasn't planning to post it here with a TL until at least next week
>>146722420Go for it if you fancy. I won't bother doing a translation until the digital is available and I don't see it yet.
Alright, and that's it, what did you think? As promised, some spoilers for T15-Saul is making more protectors, gathering up all the resources around neosalem. He also wants to start burning libraries and gathering up books to control information-At the end of the volume he's also got 3 creepy hooded lads with him, I think he's turned some Neosalemites into mind-controlled zombies.-A talking bird tells the Fortville gang to come find and free Jezabel or the 15 families will mess everything up-They take a boat to sea at random to see what they can find.-Limbo magic takes them to a big walled garden island-They collect 8 talking birds, the 8 parts of Jezabel's mind, but her body is imprisoned by an archangel in Antesalem, where the last War of Limbo ended, they need to find Melchior and tell him he has to look in the last place he'd think to find her.-The mirror-child is there too. Turns out he was the hidden illegitimate child of the hotel owner, abused and burned by his father.-He's mad that Camille betrayed the last families, but she ends up putting him to rest and he disappears-The garden starts disappearing since it only exists in the mirror-child's mind, but Camille remembers her time there and reconstructs it a bit so they can get out.-She remembers her death, her parents were watching a climate change documentary and she felt so helpless that she killed herself by jumping off the construction site where the hotel/garden used to be.-Her hair turns white like the magisters-One of the theories Anton and Yvan have built up is that the Wars of Limbo correspond to major human tragedies. The last 2 specifically correspond to the 2 World Wars, so if this War of Limbo is a big one, it might end the world. The title of the next volume is The Prisoner of Antesalem.
This is the (digital) cover for volume 15. It's a lot nicer in the physical, you can barely see the outline of the mirror-child, only really when you tilt it so the light catches him.
>>146722848blackboard is unreadable>>146722820>>146722835be kind, rotate
>>146723170Balls, I updated in the folder but I guess the old version pulled through here. In the final I'll probably just join the pages and then people can rotate it in their reader or their tablet. If I join and rotate it'll probably fuck up double-page mode.
>>146722436I'll think about it
>>146723218>If I join and rotate it'll probably fuck up double-page mode.Just rotate them then, it's a pain to read them otherwise.
Based OP. I'm hoping that one German that did a TL of Sillage/Wake around last Christmas comes back for volume 21 this year.
>>146722268I'm not going to read it because I have the physical book, but this series is great and deserves more attention than it gets.
What's Alone about?
>>146722268Fucking kino, been wondering where this was. Thanks OP.
>>146722268Yay! More Alone time
>>146723496A handful of kids wake up and find the world completely empty of people save for kids like themselves and it gets crazier from there.
>>146722268Is there any comic similar to Yoko Tsuno? adventures, with female main character. I only know Natacha, and I never liked tigresse blanche.
Pretty cool, sort of gives me "Our gang" by Walt Kelly vibes.
>>146722268Thanks for the storytime
>>146724317Papyrus has two main characters and one is a woman. Sophie by Vicq and Jidéhem. Lady S and Adele Blanc-Sec are more modern ones. Alexia as in Les Demons d'Alexia might fit too. Carmen Mc Callum, Kelly Green and Violine too perhaps. And more recently, maybe Brume and Tavutatet, but those might be a little kiddy.
>>146723339I don't know, that fag was always on about how he had so many better things to be doing than typesetting it and how we should be so grateful and happy he was bothering to even half do it. He probably didn't get the e-peen points he wanted so I'd be surprised if he came back.

You can see that the creators got inspored by Fortnite and the game Limbo.
>>146724470I thought Les Demons d'Alexia never finished?
You can tell the guy who did Soda drew this since everyone has old man hands.
anyone remember if there was a chart explaining what we know of the families, like their levels and avatars. it might've been a post too.

>>146722862thanks for the translation and typesetting, OP! I enjoyed it very much. a single volume feels very short compared to when I first read it.
>>146732363>2007>Limbo 2010>Fortnite 2017You are right. Damn, that series is old!
>>146727710Hold on, does Fortnite have an actual storyline?
>>146733344If they keep up the release schedule, we'll get the last book in ~2028. Then I can finally binge the entire series.

>>146733509No, but the town is called Fortville and all these stand-offs or looting reminds you of Fortnite. Besides they cant die like a videogame character.
>>146734226Vehlmann is quite productive. 2007 plus 14 (books) is 2021. So nearly every year a book. Only 3 years he took a holiday. Besides he is very productive and is a main artist for Spirou.
