Franco-Belgian stuff always had the better format, printing albums/hardcover books with better quality. More entertaining stories and characters. I'm not saying they also don't have their fare share of forgotten characters, but, older titles from Europe have aged a hell of alot better than American comics. I don't know alot about manga but it too aged alot better than Amercian stuff.
