I really don't buy the romance between Ruby and Skullboy. Ruby always gives off the vibe of being a supportive older sister to the rest of the group. I can't imagine her seeing any of them romantically. Plus I just feel like it taints their dynamic since it means there's a bit of an elephant in the room whenever they're in the same scene.

You can see it in some shots like this shot where Ruby is very clean but the background art cannot be scaled without loss of detail.
